"Were you acquainted with any of these demon slayers?" Shinobu asked. Me and Giyuu stayed silent. "There don't seem to be any survivors in this area at least. We were informed that several of the newer mizomoto had joined the battle to combat these demons but...they might already be dead by now, don't you think?" I looked at Shinobu. "Yeah... I guess so.." I said in a quiet voice.
"Lets go." Giyuu said.
It was quiet then Shinobu spoke up. "Isn't the moon lovely? Since we've been given this mission lets get to know each other Tomioka and Y/n?"
"My only concern is to slay demons." Giyuu responded. "How very cold hearted of you Tomioka. Well lets split up at this point I shall go to the west." "Very well then." Then Shinobu vanished.
I looked at Tomioka. "Her smile is creepy..." Giyuu glanced down at me then glanced back up. "Agreed."
While me and Tomioka were running I saw a demon slayer getting choked in the corner of my eye. I tugged on Tomioka Haori and pointed towards the choking demon slayer. We both nodded I went to go hide while he ran and chopped its arm off and distracted the demon in order for me to chop its head off.
"First form collapsing frost bite." I jumped out of the tree I has hiding in and in one swing the demons head slid off. Giyuu looked at me and ruffled my hair, then looked at the dude with a boar head. I could've sworn he had stars around him
Giyuu pushed me to get away from the boar head dude as fast as possible.
"HOLD ON A SECOND!" I jumped then slowly look behind me. "FIGHT ME MR MISMATCHED OUTFIT!"
"Go ahead Y/n, I'll catch up." So then I ran. Knowing he'll be able to handle it. I sighed, "That demon slayer is weird..." Then I saw it.
"Was that demon protecting a human?..." My eyes widen at the sight. "Incredible.." I hid high up in the tree watching the scene unfold. My knees were to my chest while my head rested on my arms. "That demon...was his sister?" A small smiled made its way on my face. "If only... she could see how far I gotten..." Tears rolled down my face. They quickly dried when I saw flames.
That boy... he was cutting through the threads. The fire following the way he moves. It was beautiful. I watched intill I looked up. Pink flames... was that his sister blood demon art? These siblings... they're incredible.
The boy cut off the demons head then fell face flat to the ground. His sister burned through the threads. Right as she almost fell to the ground I caught her, and placed her at a tree. I glanced at the boy the walked over to him. "Are you okay?" He nodded then grabbed my hand and helped him walk to the tree his sister was sitting at. I looked into his eyes. His eye looked like they're filled with kindness.
"Woah..."I said out loud. "What was that?" The boy said tilting his head. 'D-did I just said that out loud!?' I quickly looked away "S-sorry I didn't mean to say that out loud!" He giggled, "It's okay." His laugh, his smile...showed kindness..he reminds me a lot like my sister.
"Sorry to interrupt your little moment but did you really think you defeated me? Sorry to ruin your little dilution but I cut my head off myself...before you were able to do that yourself. So now I'll will kill you and both your sister and girlfriend.
"Snow avalanche third form." I dashed towards him slashed his head off before he can do anything else. "I'm not his girlfriend. I barely know him." I said as I looked behind me.
"Wow Y/n seems like you handled everything." Giyuu popped out of no where. I saw the demon's body walk over to the boy and his sister then the body collapsed. The boy looked at the body then put his hand on the body.
Giyuu started to walk towards the clothes of the demon and stepped on it. The boy started to lecture Giyuu to not step on the clothes of the demon. Giyuu looked at his sister his face went from straight to surprise.
I heard Shinobu coming and running our way. Giyuu stopped her from killing Nezuko by using his blade
"Oh my!" She landed swiftly on the ground "Why would you get in my way Tomioka? After you said we can't befriend demons. I have to say this kind of thing is exactly why... no one likes you." She giggled. "Now then Tomioka would you please move." I looked back at Giyuu "I don't... I don't think I'm disliked.." That sentence triggered the insect hashira. "Oh dear.. I'm sorry you have to find out this way" That triggered both me, the boy and Giyuu. "Boyy!" Shinobu trying to get the boy attention. He jumped and said yes Ma'am. "Did you know that thing over there you're protecting is a demon? Please move along and you won't get hurt!" "Well this demon is my little sister." Shinobu puts on a fake sad face, " Oh my! You poor thing, in that case so she won't suffer I'll use a Gentle poison to be able to kill her!" "Can you move? Even though it'll be hard you need to go.. take your sister and go. Y/n go with him to make sure he's safe." I nodded. "Tokioka.. thank you." The boy said before he left with me.
While me and the boy were running Kanao came out of now where hitting the boy making his little sister fall out if his arms. As Kanao was about to slash his sister neck she hit my sword. "Nezuko run!" I glanced at Kanao with begging eyes to not kill his sister and if she gets in trouble I'll take the blame. She shoke her head no and knocking The boy unconscious and chased his little sister I chased after her. His little sister shrunk. Both me and Kanao were shocked then she kept running.
We looked up the crow said to us, "Tanjiro and Nezuko are to be taken to head corders!" Me and Kanao looked at each other we both said, "She must be Nezuko." We looked at Nezuko Kanao spoke up, "Are you Nezuko?" Nezuko nodded.
Kanao then told everyone what to do. While I stood next to her. Then we both went ahead to head courters. ____________________________
