————————————————————— "Finally! The meetings over! I was starving too!" I complained to Giyuu. "Hey Y/n." I looked up at him. "Hm?" "Did you feel something when you hugged Tanjiro?" I felt my face burn up "O-OF COURSE NOT! MY ONLY FOCUS IS TO FIND MUZAN AND SLAY HIM!" Giyuu looked at me giving me a face. "What's up with that face giyuu." I grumbled. "Your face doesn't really show that you don't like him." Giyuu looked away.
"YOU LIKE SOMEONE!?" Tengen slammed open the door. "Tengen shut up!" Obanai spoke behind him. "Y/N LIKES SOMEONE!? WHO'S LUCKY BOY! Or girl." Mitsuri popped out of no where.
I started to become bright read then I got up from my seat and ran to butterfly mansion. I found Shinobu's office kicked open the door and clong onto her haori. "Hide me." Shinobu looked down at me. "From?" "TENGEN, OBANAI, MITSURI! THEY SAID I LIKE SOMEONE! WHICH I KNOW I DON'T HAVE FEELINGS FOR!" I heard giggling. I looked up was Shinobu laughing at me?... SHE WAS. "Forget I said anything." I left her office. Shinobu started laughing out loud. "WAIT! Y/N WAIT." I closed the door before sh!e can say anything else.
While I was walking down the hallways I heard screaming. I ran towards the screaming 'Was that Aoi!?' I made it to the room to see a yellow hair boy refusing to drink the medicine.
Aoi turned to the door way and saw me coming in. "Y/n I'm so glad you're here! This boy is refusing to drink his medicine! I have a huge headache can you handle it for me?" I nodded, she thanked me multiple times and left the room. I turned to look at the boy. He had stars in his eyes. He grabbed my hand...
I've never been so discussed in my whole life. "Say what's your name." before I can even answer someone came behind me and slapped his hand away. "Zenitsu you're scaring her!" I stiffened then looked behind me. 'Tanjirou?..' "No, no It's okay!" I put my hands in the air in defense. I turned to look back at said boy named Zenitsu. "I'm Y/n Fuyu. My last name means winter. I am the snow hashira. Nice to meet you!" I waved hi to him and smiled at him. "Now please...can you drink your medicine." He nodded his head rapidly and drank his medicine. I sighed then smiled at him. "Thank you Zenitsu!" His face became red. I patted his head and giggled. I then stopped and remembered something. Tanjirou noticed. "Are you okay Fuyu?" I shoke my head. "Please! Call me Y/n no need to be formal." I gave him a closed eye smile. "oh. Okay!" he smiled back at me.
My breathing became uneven. My eyes became glossy. I was in shock... he's like her... I stepped back. He gave me a confused look. "Is there something wrong? Y/n." I shoke my head no. "Excuse me Tanjirou. I need... I need to use the restroom!" I ran outside the room and before I can fully leave he said something. "D-Did I do something wrong?" At that moment I felt bad. I sighed, then went to Giyuu's mansion.
I opened Giyuu's door and layed flat on the floor. I heard Giyuu's voice. "What happened Y/n?" I looked up at him then tears started to come out of my eyes. I ran up and hugged him. "H-He..." I was hesitant. Giyuu placed his had on my head showing is was okay to tell him. "He's just like her.. They have the same personality and smile." I held tight on his uniform. "Now he thinks he did something wrong... because I ran away from him. I feel bad Giyuu.." "Just go out with him, like go get food with him. As an apology." I stopped crying. Those tears quickly dried. I looked up at him and smiled. "That's a good idea Giyuu thank you!" Time skip I made my way to the butterfly mansion. I had also gotten some chocolate for Tanjirou as a gift. 'Shinobu most likely wouldn't let me to take Tanjirou somewhere because uh he is badly injured, and I am 14 that is not responsible for my health. Giyuu is' (:
'Even though he can't take care of his own too'
'It was 3:00am Shinobu should be in her office by now.' I said to myself looking down at the chocolates. I took a deep breath and went in.
Fucking butterfly mansion is too big for my well be- OOOOO FOUND IT! I walked in to see Tanjirou sleeping. I felt my face burning. 'He's kinda...cute.. in a way! I don't like him obviously! Me what are you thinking!?' I shoke my head and went towards Tanjirou's bed. I shoke him a bit trying to wake him up. He slowly opened his eyes and then looked around the room to see what woke him up. Then we made eye contact.
His eyes were beautiful. The moon light hitting his dark red eyes. I was mesmerized.
"Y/n what are you doing here?" He asked. That caught my attention. "Oh um.. follow me." I grabbed his hand and ran to the snow mansion. He whispered yelled at me. "Y/n we're going to fast I can't keep up! Mind if you go a bit slower!" I slowed down a bit. We went in my backyard and I told him to go ahead and climb the tree with me. Then I jumped to my roof. He did the same.
We just sat there quietly. It was a comfortable silents if I do say so myself.
"Tanjiro you didn't do anything wrong... I'm sorry you felt that way. You're just a lot like her." He looked at me then gave me a gentle smile. "It's okay Y/n. I understand, but what do you mean by her?" Tears where threatening to fall but I kept it in. "You remind me a lot like my sister. You're kind.. cares a lot about your family, and is willing to make sacrifices to save them or to even protect them even though you're the one getting hurt. She sacrificed herself just to save me from a demon. This haroi I'm wearing is hers." A tear accidentally fell Tanjiro saw. He wiped it away from my face and gave me a hug. I was shocked, but he felt warm eveb warmer then the hug I gave him last time. This felt right. I slowly wrapped my hands around him returning the hug.
"I can sense that you feel guilty, angry and sad about your sister.. right?"
Shocked by his words I still nodded my head yes. He broke the hug and grabbed my hands placing it between his. "It happened years ago Y/n... yes I know it was traumatic but at least try your best to make yourself happy. You don't have to forget about it Y/n! But I'm telling you there's something that's ganna make you happy I promise you that!" Speechless at his words but they made me feel better. I gave him a gentle smile. "Oh I almost forgot!" He gave me a questioning look. "Here Tanjiro these are for you as an apology." He looked down at the chocolates. "Thank you Y/n!" I yawn "N-no prob-" I feel asleep. My head resting on his lap. He stiffened but the loosened placing his hand on my head and played with my hair.
