Now for a time skip.

It's years later- the Barian Emperors seem to have moved on from the empty feeling Allysida, now Sting, had left behind; the emptiness which had now been replaced with the loss of 2 more Barian Emperors, Nasch and Marin, is keeping them preoccupied.
Sting moved away from her aunts after her passing. Her brother, Eden, had found a well paying job and got her a house in Heartland City, where she will attend Heartland Academy.
Beatriz, now healthy and living still with her mother in Heartland, is also attending Heartland Academy.

Sting isn't sociable, so she didn't have many friends, if any at all. It's not due to shyness, it's just due to a lack of care for socialising. She always got by just fine on her own, so she doesn't see or feel the need to have anyone else care about her. She would keep her priorities straight and focus on school and getting good grades. Loneliness never affected her and being on her own was really the only way of living she knew up to this point, and was perfectly content with it.

Beatriz, on the other hand, she's the opposite. She's bubbly, fun, loud, and enjoys making friends. She doesn't pay the most attention in school, but still does well in terms of grades. She's good at making friends and has a few good ones. She would put her friends before work, and enjoyed company.

Despite how close they almost came to "reuniting", what with being in the same school, even the same year, their polarising personalities and approachability hindered their meeting. Sting with her priorities, would always head straight to her destination where she needs to be, always being early and quick to get there. Whereas Beatriz, she would sometimes lag behind in class, messing around with friends and hanging around in places like the halls or courtyard. So her and Sting never exactly managed to cross paths. For two whole years of school, they never noticed eachother.

Until, that is;
One day, during the end of school, Sting was carrying a few books she couldn't fit in her bag, when a short, brown haired first year girl bumped into her abruptly, making Sting drop her books. She wasn't one to get angry, and still wasn't in that situation- but the shorter girl began to apologise profusely. Sting, not having been in this situation before, hardly knew how to accept an apology.
"A-ah- there's no need to be sorry! It was an accident, I don't blame you-" Sting had said, before being interrupted by a loud female voice to the sidelines. "HEY KIP!! WHAT HAPPENED TO YA?"
Sting looked over to see a tall, tan, blue haired girl in the second year uniform, quickly walking their way. She immediately felt a wave of a specific emotion over her. A feeling of familiarity, in a way. She had no idea what it was but something seemed so... nostalgic, in a way.
"Hiya Beatriz! I accidentally bumped into, uh..." the first year named Kip began, and glanced to Sting. "Ah- my name is Sting." She said quickly.
"I accidentally bumped into Sting and made her drop her books..." Kip said, scratching her neck, a tinge of guilt in her voice.

Beatriz looked at Sting, and immediately got that same odd sense of familiarity. She was so caught up in trying to identify this emotion that she never realised she was completely frozen in place, until Kip snapped her out of this state by snapping her fingers in front of her face.
"...Earth to Beatriz... hey, Beatriz, you good now?" Kip asked. Beatriz immediately perked up again, "Oh yeah!! My bad, I got lost in thought- but here I'll help!" She said, and bent down and quickly gathered Sting's books together and handed them to her.
"So, Sting, I haven't seen you around that much.. are you new to the school?" Beatriz asked. "Mm, no. I've been here since the first day of first year. I just don't hang around school that much." Sting replied, to which Beatriz hummed in response. "How about you hang out with us for a while?" Kip chimes in, and Beatriz smiled at that idea. "Yeah actually!! I could do with a new friend!" She said happily.
Sting thought for a moment. She hasn't had many friends before. Maybe she could give it a shot, and better yet, try figure out why Beatriz gives this weird nostalgic feeling. She nodded, "Sure, I'm not really doing anything else." To which Kip and Beatriz rejoiced and made plans to go to a park.

A few hours later, the three girls were still hanging out and having a really nice time.
Sting was probably the most happiest. This was a completely new experience to her, but she feels like she's made some real friends even though they've only known eachother a few hours. Though, she still has yet to figure out the feeling. "Maybe it's normal," she thought. "Maybe people feel this when they make friends and I just don't know, or something". She won't be able to let it go too easily, but she's trying to put it aside. Little did she know, Beatriz still felt it. It feels like they've met before, even though they have never as much as seen eachother before. It's bugging her like crazy. In the meantime, Kip is really just happy she has a new friend too.
