A/N: Welcome back all my little readers, after two years this story will finally continue, I do hope you've all been well.
(Y/N's POV)
Seeing time giggle when they thought I wasn't looking made me smile a small bit, at least they were happy. Inside we were greeted and we walked around together, it looks like they had a wider variety of bitties than they did last time, which was honestly great, watching time wander off to find what they wanted to find, I too wandered off a bit and just, took in the sights, looking at the bitties in their enclosures.
"Anything catch your eye miss?" A voice spoke behind me, making me jump as I turned around and saw.. a skeleton?- oh! This was a monster, the ones that recently came up to the surface.
"Not really, I'm just looking around for now." I replied, giving an awkward smile and taking a step back, for some reason, I got a.. really odd feeling from them, like maybe, I shouldn't really be around them. But maybe that was just me being silly.. or maybe I should really listen to my gut.
"Well, if anything does catch your eye, just call me or another worker over and we'll be happy to help." The, now that I realize, worker walked away than. But for some reason, I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched even while the skeleton walked away. What a strange feeling..
"Ya feeling funky broski?"
Jumping at the squeaky voice I heard, I looked around and than lowered my gaze to see a tiny bitty, with a very wide variety of.. colors, and interesting sun glasses.
"Hm? Oh, no, not at all." I smile a small bit and crouch down to the bitty, a small part of me wondered what this bitty was doing outside of a play pen or an enclosure, but it should be okay, kinda.. right?-
"Alrighty, if ya' so sure. I'm fresh by the way, the coolest bitty 'round."
That made me giggle a bit, for some reason, I wanted to take this bitty home, but I already had so many.. so maybe that wasn't so good of an idea. But I do have quite a bit of money.. ahh, why not?
"Would you like to come home with me?" Fresh, looked quite startled by that question, as if he wasn't expecting me to ask it at all. Which is a bit strange, who wouldn't adopt this bitty?
"Are ya' sure?" Fresh would respond to my question, seemingly anxious. Why wouldn't I be sure..? It's not like he was bad or anything. I couldn't.. quite understand why he was so anxious, but I tried my best to help him out.
"Yeah, I'm very sure- why, do you not wanna come with me?" Honestly, I didn't want to take a bitty home that would be.. uncomfortable with my presence, how he felt was just as important as I felt after all. I couldn't afford to make him uncomfortable for the sake of giving him a home he may be frightened of.
"Naw my dude, that sounds rad." Fresh had the biggest, most ecstatic grin on his face, and I couldn't help but smile with him.. his joy was just, contagious.
"Though.. I must give you a warning, there are quite a few bitties I have already, I hope that won't be too big of a problem for you." I knew that some bitties tend to like a more.. solitary environment. So it only felt right to give this bitty a word of caution.
"So I get roommates too? Man, that makes so stoked to meet my new roomies!" The way he seemed to relaxed and happy made me happy too, seeing such a sweet bitty I couldn't help but have my heart go out to him. After all, who knows how long he's been here.
"Than climb on." I offered my hand towards him as his grin only seemed to widen, once he climbed on I was finally able to see the words on his glasses... wait- why were there words on his glasses? 'Yolo' huh.. what a strange acronym. My attention was taken from my thoughts when I felt his awkward shifting on the palm of my hand. I gave him a small smile of encouragement, and walked towards the desk. Waiting for time to come back so that we could leave together.
"Hey hey!" I heard time say from behind me, turning around I see her holding a.. brown bitty, well, it was wearing brown colored clothing. I had never actually seen another bitty with his kind of dress, time seemed to notice my intrigue as she'd giggle and give a big ol' smile.
"This is a ccino bitty, when I saw him I just knew that I had to take him home." Time seemed to have a big grin on her face, but there was something about it that seemed.. off, that and the ccino bitty was.. bigger, than what I thought it would be. Hah.. I really need to research more about this kinda stuff. Time seemed to have a lot of knowledge, and while I would've loved to ask them some questions, I knew how busy they could get. So I simply nodded and smiled towards them.
I needed to get back to my boys, I wasn't expecting to get another bitty, especially so soon. But, I wasn't complaining. I quite.. like this. After time and I left the store, once we filed the adoption papers for the bitty's ofcourse. Time offered to drive me home, but my house was in the neighborhood so I had to kindly decline. She gave a nod of understanding and bid me farewell. Fresh was hanging out in my hoodie and I couldn't help but feel.. warm, at the thought of introducing him to the others. Surely, they would get along. I know they all sometimes had arguments. As I started to set off towards my house I couldn't help.. but feel an odd sort of crawling sensation up my back.. shivering I gazed around but found no one.. how strange.
"Oh my dear... Don't let your guard down do soon."
