-A FEW DAYS LATER-
Dipper was quietly shuffling around the book shop. It was after hours, dark, and pretty overall pretty quiet.
He picked a book off a table, taking a random bookmark out of its pages. He dusted the book off and read its cover. He turned on his heels and went over to a bookshelf facing away from the door.
He set the book in its correct spot but perked up when he heard the door open.
SHOOT! I FORGOT TO LOCK THE DOOR! AM I GONNA GET ROBBED, SHOOOOOTTTTTT
His mind started to race as he spoke softly, "Sorry, we're closed you'll have to come back tomorrow!"
"Not even open for me, Pines? Your cold" spoke a familiar voice.
Dipper turned around quickly and was greeted by the soft smiling face of his local mafia boss, Bill Cipher.
Dipper sighed in relief and walked over to greet Bill, "Thought I was being robbed!! Glad to see it's a familiar criminal instead!!". Bill laughed and started to take off his coat, Dipper instantly grabbed the coat as Bill took it off, surprising the blonde. "Let me take your stuff!" Chirped Dipper, Bill smiled and allowed the smaller male to take his hat and coat.
"You're in an awfully good mood, PineTree!" Bill commented as he began to wander amongst the bookshelves. Dipper flinched at the odd nickname, but ignored it, "I just haven't had guests over in a while!!" spoke Dipper, "guests that aren't my family or close friends that is!".
Bill nodded as he looked through the bookshelves, occasionally picking up a few books. Dipper poked him on the shoulder, "Would you like some tea? I can make some pretty quickly!".
Bill nodded quickly, "That would be lovely, my dear". Dipper blushed faintly at those words then started leading Bill to the house part of the shop.
They walked up some stairs, then came to a small door. Dipper opened the door and allowed Bill inside.
Bill set his small pile of books down on a nearby desk, then got a look at the small room.
The room was a small square, with soft blue wallpaper draping the walls. A bed and desk were laid to his right. And the wall opposite him was a SMALL kitchen, barely any space to do the actual cooking. Honestly, the kitchen just has a few counters, a sink, some cupboards, a tiny fridge, and an oven. There was also a couch and a few other pieces of furniture littered around the small room.
Bill was left shocked, Dipper actually lived like this... and seemed to enjoy it!! He certainly was an oddity.
Dipper walked over to the cupboard and got out a kettle, filling it with water in the sink. Bill made himself comfortable on the small couch. Dipper set the kettle on the stove, letting it boil, then joined Bill.
They sat in silence for a complete 10 seconds, then Dipper spoke softly, "Not be rude or anything, but what's with the sudden appearance?".
Bill looked at Dipper, faking hurt, "Are you saying you don't like my company?~".
Dipper shook his head quickly, "NO NO NO!!! I just wondered if you showed up out of blue all of a sudden!".
Bill laughed, "Your wonderful company PineTree!! Absolutely wonderful!! To answer your question, I have a meeting with an old acquaintance of mine, figured this place would be pretty close for him!"
Dipper nodded his head, "Wish you had told me, could have gone out and bought you some food!"
Bill let out a loud series of laughs, "My dear, you sound like an old housewife!!"
DIpper scoffed, "Maybe they've got the right idea!".
They both broke into laughter but were quickly stopped by the sound of the door being slammed open.
They both flinched at the sudden noise,
Then came the screaming...
