Trying to figure out what is going on

        When I woke up Brody was holding my hand and had a worried look on his face. "Are you okay?" Papa said touching my cheek "Yes sir just got a little lightheaded" I said trying to sit up "Marie maybe you should take it slow" Brody said stopping me. "I am ok." I said looking into his eyes. He looked up over at Papa then helped me to my feet. "Come on I will help you to your room." Brody said placing his arm around my waist helping me up the stairs. "Tommy, Do you still have connections with the Time Force Rangers?" Papa said as he watched Brody and I walking up the steps. "I will give Wes a call. I am sure he will be able to help us figure out this problem. I am hoping that I will be able to call more Rangers to help" Tommy said then walked over to the couch.

Brody didn't want to leave my side that night, so he made arrangements to stay the night. Papa didn't mind at all besides he thought it was extra security to have Brody there. Papa and Uncle Oliver did their best to get me to stay at home, but I needed to go to school. Besides I knew that Isabella would see it as her lucky day if I was not there. "Hey you okay?" Brody said placing his hand on my shoulder as I walked toward the others. "Yes why?" I said looking up at him "you seem like your mind is somewhere else that's all" He said then offered me his hand, which I gladly took into my own. He smiled at me then we made our way over the others.

The rest of the day seems to go by with no trouble, which felt odd because Isabella would be waiting for Brody at his locker when we arrived, but she was not. "Do you think she took the hint?" Levi said walking over to us. "Hush she might have super hearing and come running." I said looking around for her. Brody smiled the leaned down kissing me softly before he led me to our first class. We managed to get through lunch and the rest of the day without any sight of Isabella or a conflict with Grandeur. "Mick has there been any Buzz cams or monster sightings?" Brody said as we made our way into the command center "Oddly enough nothing, which is strange." Mick said as he raised his googles. Mick could tell that I had something on my mind "You ok?" Mick said touching my shoulder "Yeah, just worried that there is something bad about to happen" I said then gave him a hug. Mick gave me a smile then he gave me a worried expression. I guess he was worried that there might be something bad about to happen too. 

For the first time in a month, we actually was able to have a restful afternoon together without having to deal with monsters. Haley, Sarah, and I decided for once we were going to have a girl's afternoon. "Marie, you seem a little distracted today at the Base" Haley said sitting beside me placing her bags beside her. I smiled at her "Sorry guys I just have a weird feeling that something is about to happen." I said leaning back in my chair then closed my eyes. We talked as we waited for our food to be brought to our table. We enjoyed our time together without the guys for once and we were able to talk about the guys. "Marie, everything with Brody going, okay? I know Isabella has really been trying to come between you two." Sarah said with concern in her voice. "She is becoming a real issue, but I know Brody loves me." I said pushing my food around my plate. I know that I really shouldn't worry about Isabella, but I just didn't know how to handle her anymore. "Hey, did you see the new guy?" Hailey said bring me out of my trance. "What new guy?" I said looking over at her with a questioning look "Apparently he is related to Isabella somehow and well she is not too happy that he is there." I stopped then thought about the guy that Isabella was fussing with at lunch before she stormed off. "Wait I saw him at lunch today." I said handing the waiter my plate. We ended up talking about the new guy as we walked toward the car.
