Trying to spend some time alone

Sorry it's been a while since I updated, but I have had some things happen. I lost my brother in August so I really have not had the heart to work on anything.      

  For the last couple of weeks my thoughts have been on what Isabelle was up too. I mean Brody has told her so many times that he only had feelings for me, but she still will not give up. I can tell Brody see that I am getting worried on what Isabelle will try next. "You know I think we need some time alone." Brody said slipping his arms around my waist then kisses my cheek. I smiled at him knowing he was right. On the last couple of dates that we had there always seemed to be another couple with us. "you mean we will be on a date without someone else with us?" I said turning around then kissed Brody. We had not been able to be alone since Isabelle started showing up all over the place. "You know we could go to the cabin this weekend" Brody touched my cheek running his finger down my face. I smiled at him "That sounds like a wonderful idea just the two of us." I said smiling then moved closer to him "What sounds like a wonderful Idea" Levi said walking up to us. "Uhm nothing Bro" Brody said smiling then pulled me to him. We stood there talked for a little bit then walked toward our next class. On our way we walked by Isabelle who as usual glared at me. "Marie you okay?" Brody said running his finger across my hand pulling me away from my thoughts. "yeah I am good." I said smiling at him pushing my thoughts to the back of my head.

We managed to make it through the week without any altercations from Grandeur which was weird cause he normally sends at least one of his minions to try to take our power stars. "Do you think he has giving up on taking the power stars?" I said looking over at Levi. Levi just shrugged his shoulders then looked over at the others. "Well let's hope" Sara said with a smile then handed me a magazine with prom dresses in it. The school decided to through a formal dance in a couple months which was exciting. "I like this one" I said showing her a light pink dress with a ruffle around the waist. "That doesn't look like me" Sara said then flipped the page to another dress that she had placed a star by. "This is the one I want to get." The dress she had pointed out was a sleeveless, floor length light pink dress. "That would look wonderful on you" I said smiling at her. Sara smiled at me "What about this one?" she said pointed at a light purple floor length dress. "I like that one" I said smiling moving the magazine closer so that I could get a better view of the dress. "That dress would look wonderful on you Marie" Hayley said smiling. We girls spent the rest of lunch looking at the magazine hoping that we would be able to find the dress that we wanted.

Brody and I had made plans to spend the rest of the afternoon together. We even managed to sneak away from the others so we could have some time just us. "How did you manage to get away from Levi?" I said sliding over to him laying my head on his shoulder. Brody smiled then kissed my forehead "I told him that it has been a while since we had a night where we can spend some time alone." I sat up looked at him then smiled. "He knows that we need some alone time so we can do couple things". I knew he was right because ever since Grandeur's appearance and Isabelle trying to get her hands-on Brody, we have not been able to spend even a minute alone. As we drove down the road, I just enjoyed being beside him. I did not ask him where we were going cause to tell you the truth being with him, I did not care where we were going just to know that I was with him.

We pulled up to the park I saw a picnic table set up with candles and plates. "Brody did you do that?" I said turning to look at him. "Well I asked Levi and Preston if they would set it up while I picked you up." Brody said then stepped out of the truck offering me his hand. "Care to join me my lady?" Brody said smiling at me. I could not help but smile at him as I slipped out of the truck then touched his cheek. We walked over to the picnic table laughing and talking about how our day went. Sitting there eating a picnic dinner with Brody was wonderful. We did not have to worry about whether a monster would try to attack us or if anyone would disrupt us. We were able to be a normal couple having a romantic dinner alone. As the night went by, we managed to have some time that we had not been able to have in a long time. We packed up the table then walked back to the truck "Brody, I love you" I said slipping my arms around his waist. "I love you too" Brody said then kissed me softly. The kiss felt wonderful I felt his hands move around my waist then up my back. He picked me up wrapping my legs around his waist pushing me against the truck. "Brody" I said letting out a soft moan as he started to move down to my neck. All I could think about was how much I wanted him. Before I knew it, we were in the truck his hands moving down my body. "Are you sure?" Brody said as I pulled his shirt off placing it beside him on the seat "Yes" I said pulling him to me kissing him deeply. All we really wanted was time alone so we could just be together.

"Brody, Marie where are you two?" Levi's voice came over the communicator. "Busy Bro" Brody said giving me a smile then his lips were back on mine. Each move he was making sent, each touch and kiss send an amazing feeling all through my body. I could not help but let out a moan each time his lips touched my skin. "Brody, we need you guys to come to base." Preston's voice called out. Brody stopped then looked at me then laid his head on my chest letting out a sigh. "What's going on?" Brody said then kissed my chest. As he talked with the other, I ran my fingers through his hair taking in everything that was going on. "We will be there in a few minutes." Brody gave me a sad look then sat up. I handed him his shirt and he handed me mine. "Sometimes I believe that those buzz cams are following us. We managed to get on our remain clothes then headed to the base.

When we pulled up at the school, I noticed that Levi and Preston were waiting for us when we pulled up. The expressions on their face gave me a sinking feeling that the news was not good. "I am sorry about messing up your date, but Mick thinks he has figure out something" Levi said walking up to us. "What is it?" Brody said looking at me then back at Levi. "come inside" we followed them inside to see the others watching Mick as he walked around with a worried look on his face. "What's going on?" Brody said walking up to Mick. "A buzz cam" Mick said then pointed toward the monitor where we saw a monster terrorizing people in the park. "Really" Brody and I both said then made our way out of the base. We had been planning this special time together for the last couple of days. When we go to the park Brody stopped "Marie maybe you should go back to the base" Brody said looking back at me "Brody come on I am apart of the team" I said crossing my arms "I know you are but I am so scared that you will get hurt" Brody touched placed his hands on my cheeks giving me a worried look. I looked into his eyes then nodded "If you need my help call me." I said then walked back toward the base. I knew that Mick would allow me to watch the fight or work on a couple of the new weapons that he had been working on.

"Marie what are doing here? The team needs you this monster is really letting them have it" Mick said walking up to me giving me a worried look "I can tell" I said looking at the monitors "Brody I think you need Marie in this fight" Mick called to Brody "Mick We can beat this guy. I want her to remain safe." Brody said as the zord took a hit. Mick and I looked at each other with worried looks on our faces. "Mick he won't let me fight because he is worried that I will get hurt. We are still trying to figure out why Grandeur wanted to know where the little one was at." I said sitting in a chair beside Mick's worktable. "I know I have been in contact with your uncle and he has not been able to figure it out." Mick said walking up to me. We sat there talking about some possibilities when the other returned from the battle. "This is getting really annoying" Brody said walking over to me. I watched as he sat down beside me then reached for my hand. "I know what you mean" I said taking his hand in mine. I just wanted to spend some alone time with Brody where we could be a couple. "Why don't you guys go back to your date." Levi said giving us a smile. "If anything else happens we will take care of it." Preston said walking up to us. "You sure?" Brody said standing up "Yeah come on you two have not been able to spend one minute alone, and we can tell it's getting you two stressed out." Sarah said walking up. Brody and I looked at each other then smiled. "If we need you we will get ahold of you" Mick said then pushed us toward the door. "Here Dad gave me the keys to the cabin go have a good weekend" Levi said handing Brody a set of keys. We didn't think twice Brody grabbed my hand then pulled me toward his truck.
