It's been a year since that classic battle of the bands and our epic performance as a member of the Langston University Marching Pride Band. The band now, was one of the most popular programs and Mr. Rich had to turn some people away. The school improved their science education program tremendously as a result of the influx of students. Ahria was the new instructor over the Golden Felines and the team was one of the fiercest in the HBCU community.

I'm 19 almost 20 now, and enjoying my life. Khelan and I got married this past April as planned and it turned into a full weekend event.

The Golden Felines taught me a few dances and I had the largest bridal party in history, I thought. We did end up with more than five hundred guests and a few media vans. I wore my dress, a white lace with violet embroidery. The back was cut low, I mean low. Right to the top of my butt so that I could show off the mating mark. The side of the dress had a thin translucent line that followed the rest of my mark to my thigh.

I had a long lace train and a tiara instead of a veil. I had my new father walk me down the isle and Khelan had Cody, and the twins as best men. For every female bride's maid I had, Khelan picked a male from the band. It was ridiculous because I had all thirteen Golden Felines, Mikko, Misty and Reliene. Misty had a little baby bump by then, but that didn't stop her from doing it all.

For our vows, Khelan and I picked a song and did solos, him on the trombone, me on the trumpet. We recited the traditional words for the minister. My song was 'Dangerously In Love' by Beyonce and Khelan chose 'You & I (Nobody in the World)' and his heart were in each note. My heart overflowed when there was a tear trailing down his cheek. My own cheeks were already wet.

I presented him with a male wedding band that matched my engagement ring and he had the wedding band to mine all along. He'd had them made as a set.

There weren't very many dry eyes in the house, including Mae and my cousins. I couldn't think of her as aunt anymore, but those children, I claimed openly.

The reception was a huge party. Me and the girls put together an epic bridal dance and the men had the single ladies' panties wet with their little strip tease. Thinking about it now, still caused me to smile.

"What is that smile about?" Khelan stepped up on the little patio and sat next to me. He'd been out with Axel playing in the ocean.

He'd decided to let Axel loose to hang with Sol. The two of them were inseparable when they weren't connected to our bodies. And it didn't matter who went with who. I found it fun having Axel attached to me. He was full of stories of Khelan growing up.

"I'm just thinking about our wedding." I turned to look at my gorgeous mate who'd decided to grow a little goatee. "Will you play the song for me again?"

Khelan laughed. "You know I will. But, first. How are you feeling?" He rubbed my belly that was barely, just now getting a bump. Our baby plan had been delayed by our mission.
