Worlds Collide

Chapter 3

No One POV:

Selene looks at the bite mark on Eve's neck. She winced and looks up towards David who's driving. "She's not healing," she says worriedly. Hope tightens her hold on her mate worriedly.

    She tried doing a healing spell but it didn't work. Eve leans more heavily against her mate feeling her strength give out a little. "We have a doctor that can help her at our coven," David tells Selene glancing back for a moment before focusing back on the road.

    "How did you....find me?" Eve softly asks staring at her mother who doesn't know that she has a daughter yet. And said daughter is in front of her. "What are your names?" Selene asks looking between the two girls who seem pretty close.

    "Subject 2 but we came up with the name Eve for me. This is Hope and you are subject 1, I freed you. Do you not know who I am?" Eve said then asks with hurt in her voice making Hope squeeze her in comfort.

     Selene looks at her confused. "They told me that I had no mother....that she died when I was born," Eve swallows roughly, "I never believed it, I.....I felt you. Saw images through your eyes. But then someone outside our door.....they said since I was no longer a child, the wait was over...that I'd be dead soon."

    Hope growls in anger, "I won't let that happen." Eve places her hand on Hope's arm to ease her anger. She knows Hope will fight til the end for her. "And that my own mother right next door....would never even know I'd existed," Eve tells Selene sadly looking down.

"What did they tell you of your father? They must have told you something. Do you see images through him?" Selene rushed out skipping over the fact that this little girl is her daughter.

    "No. Only you," Eve tells her making Selene grab her arm and sink her fangs into her wrist. Eve whimpers in pain and Hope let go of her immediately. She yanked Selene off of Eve and roars in her face with her fangs out with her eyes glowing.

    Selene stares at her for a sec before breaking Hope's wrist and slam Hope down with her hand on Hope's throat. She's surprised by the lack of emotion in the girl's eyes. The girl didn't even flinch from Selene breaking her wrist.

   Hope growls making her claws come out. "No! Hope s-stop," Eve breaths out before passing out. "Eve!" Hope exclaims turning back and as Selene was distracted Hope flicked her hand making Selene slam against the van wall.

      Hope scrambles over pulling Eve into her arms checking for a heartbeat. Lucky for her, she has one a bit weak but still a heartbeat. She sighs in relief kissing Eve's head.

Hope doesn't show emotions that well but when she does it's because of Eve and only Eve. Selene picks herself up watching their interaction in interest.

The way the girl 'Hope' just tossed her with a small flick of her hand must mean she's another supernatural being. She encountered a few in the past. A loud bone snapping brought her out of her thoughts and she see's Hope has fixed her wrist.

"We're here!" David stops the van and jumps out running to the side of the van opening the door. He gently takes Eve from Hope who in return follows after him closely.

    Selene follows them in a quick pace. He leads them into a water dam tunnel. David stops and hands Hope the girl who finally opened her eyes making Hope light up in relief.

    Eve connects eyes with the blue one's she absolutely adores before looking at her mother who looks at her in concern. David pushes the piece on the tomb door and it twists before opening up revealing stairs going down.

    As he turns to carry Eve, she lets out a soft but shaky, "no," and holds onto Hope's shirt as best as she can. "I got her," Hope says bringing Eve closer to her. He nods and goes down the stairs with the others following.
