Worlds Collide

Chapter 7

Eve's POV:

I fix my hair and look over my uniform to make sure it's on right. "Don't worry,Mon Chéri, you look great," Hope says wrapping her arms around me and leans her head on my shoulder. She looks at me through the mirror.

  "You know you didn't have to get a job. You could've stayed home and studied or went shopping," She softly tells me and I lean back against her, holding her arms.

"I know, Wolfie. But I want to help out. It's not fair that you would be the only one working and supporting us. Plus we both worked in South Dakota so it's fine," I softly say rubbing her arms gently.

  Hope frowns, tightening her grip slightly. "I just want to give you the normal life you deserve," she whispers softly and I turn around in her arms then gently wrap my arms around her neck.

  "This is the best normal life you are giving me, Wolfie. You being the amazing mate and girlfriend in the world is enough for me. Our relationship is a two way street, Hope. I love you and you love me so stop trying to take on everything yourself because you want me to have a normal life," I firmly but gently tell her making sure to connect our eyes.

   I know that's why she's trying to take on the responsibilities of working and getting us money. And to top it all off she stays up late so she can study for school while I study when she's working. But that's not what I wanted.

   "You deserve a normal life too, Wolfie. And I want to experience a lot of our firsts together. Study together, homework together, work together, and shopping together. And many other things. Together," I add connecting our foreheads. She gently rubs my back before sighing.

  "Your right, Mon Chéri. And I promise we will do all of that and more together, ok? Hey, after work why don't you take a nice warm bath and I'll pick up your favorite food?" Hope suggests moving her hands to my hips, gently rubbing. 

   I gently play with her baby hairs. "Why, are you trying to go steady with me, Hope?" I gently question with a soft look staring into her loving blue eyes.

  She chuckles and pulls me closer by my hips. "Of course, Mon Chéri. Who wouldn't want to go steady with you? You are beautiful beyond words." My gaze softens and I bring our foreheads together.

  "You're the most beautiful girl in the world. No body can beat you," Hope softly whispers and I just couldn't take it anymore. I press my lips against hers and we share a very loving and passionate kiss.

  We pull away after a moment when air became a problem. Hope's phone starts beeping and she sighs before pressing the off button to stop it.

  "I gotta get going but remember what I said. I love you, Mon Chéri," she whispers softly before pressing one last kiss on my lips before leaving. I touch my lips with finger tips and smile to myself.

   I couldn't have asked for a better mate. Hope is everything to me and more. I grab my sweater and keys before leaving our apartment that we're renting for a month or so.

I head over to the diner where we ate at the first night we came here. Thankfully they were hiring and I got a job as a waitress. Betty who was the waitress that served us the first night helped us out a lot.

She was the one who showed us the apartment and helped us with getting it. Apparently her cousin owns the apartments and she put in a good word for us which we highly appreciate.

"Hey sweetheart! How are you and that girlfriend of yours been," Betty exclaims with a bright smile as she walks over to me where I'm putting my sweater and beanie in my locker.
