Hawks sat comfortably on his couch, a bowl of popcorn and a tissue box on either side of him.

His nose ran and tears fell down his cheeks as he hyped one of the actors up.

"Get him girl! He can't tell you shit!!" He shouted, wiping his nose and shoving another handful of popcorn into his mouth.

He had spent the night after work binge watching rom-coms for no apparent reason, awaiting any news on the investigation into his tip.

His nightmares had calmed down as of late, but the nagging feeling that something was up wouldn't leave him alone. He just felt off, like something bad was going to happen and he had to be there for it.

Nonetheless, he continued watching the emotional confrontation between the two tv characters, allowing it to drown out his thoughts.

That is, until his phone began to ring. His head snapped to the kitchen counter where his phone was plugged in as it continued to buzz.

Without bothering to pause the show, Hawks dramatically tried to hop over the back of the couch, but instead got his foot tangled in the blanket on the way over.

He fell flat on his face and groaned into the cold tile. He rolled around and tried to untangle his foot as quick as he could, struggling to get up.

Finally he stood up straight and ran to the kitchen for his phone.

"Hello?" He spoke into it, but no one responded. He looked at the phone screen and saw that he had missed a call from the police department, whose number he had saved in his phone for this exact situation.

"Ah, shit." He mumbled repeatedly as he scrolled through his many contacts until he landed on the right one.

He clicked on it and sat in anticipation as the phone line rang.

"Hel-"

"Hi! I just missed your call! This is the police department right? Is this Tom?" Hawks spoke frantically.

Tom laughed on the other end between words.

"Yes, yes this is Tom." Hawks sighed.

"So," Hawks said, "any news on my tip?" He questioned, focusing all of his attention on what Tom was about to say.

Silence lingered for a bit before Tom sighed.

"You have no idea." Tom said, exasperatedly.

Tom told Hawks everything they had found that night. From the whimper Shinjiro let out when Kirika gripped his hand, to the suspected bank robbery that would take place the next day at noon, Hawks listened earnestly to every word Tom spoke.

"Ho-ly shit." Hawks remarked, astounded by the amount of things they had discovered.

"I know, right!" Tom responded. "We're even thinking of getting the Hawks agency to help us out on this one."
