*Couple days later*

Shantel POV

It was 6:00 am and my alarm was going off. I got up and got in the shower. After 15 mins I got out and brushed my teeth. then went in my closet to find something to wear. I put lotion my body then I put on my grey cargo pants, a black short sleeve crop top and my grey air jordan's

I grabbed my things then went downstairs. As usual my parents were in the kitchen eating breakfast.

Me~ "Hey mom, hey dad"

Mom~ "Hey sweetie"

Dad~ "What you want, some money?"

Me~ "No, but i'll take some" I said putting out my hand.

Monte~ "I'll take some too" Monte said coming up behind putting his hand out too.

Dad~ "If both y'all don't get out my face"

Me~ "Well dang you asked" I said backing away going to the fridge to get my breakfast drink

Mom~ "Oh Shay you have to ride with your brother back home today because we going on that trip this weekend"

Me~ "Mom can I please stay here I don't want to go"

Monte~ "Yeah me neither mom"

Mom~ "Why don't y'all wanna go"

Me~ "Cause it's for you and dads business trip"

Monte~ "Yeah and what we gon do sit around"

Mom~ "Yall are a bunch of babies" she rolled her eyes

Me~ "Yeah, your babies"

Mom~ "Who love to be grown. Don't mess up the house while we are gone or imma mess up yo ass when we get back" she said getting up putting her plate in the sink.

Dad~ "Yeah please don't cause I don't want to hear her mouth" he said low so mom don't hear.

Mom~ "What was that"

Dad~ "Huh nothing"

Monte~ "Dad finna get his ass beat"

Mom~ "watch ya mouth or you finna get your ass beat too" she said smacking him in the back of his head.

Monte just started rubbing his head.

I then got a text from JJ saying they pulling up.

Me~ "Okay bye love you guys"

I walked outside and got in the car but something felt off.

Me~ "Uh how did you already get Gabi, and why is JJ back here , are y'all holding an intervention if so please tell me i have been waiting for this day"

They all just started laughing at me.

Gabi~ "No Zak just decided to pick me up first, I was confused as shit too"

Zak~ "I wanted to switch it up a bit" He said driving off

Gabi Then started playing music. I kept peeping that JJ kept looking at me.

Me~ "Are you good JJ"

JJ~ "Yeah you just look good today "

Me~ " Please Im literally dressed bummy today"

JJ~ "Nah you always look good"

I don't know why but that comment sent butterflies through my stomach. It's cute he really wants to earn my trust back, shows he cares.

I just now looked at his outfit he was wearing black cargo pants with a grey hoodie with his grey air jordan's.

Me~ "Did we really just match today"
