Q1. How did you come up with the title for your book?

A1. I was watching the Japanese show Good Morning Call and was inspired to write a book about two complete strangers living together. (PS: then  gotta see that show!)😃

Q2. How would you describe your book's ideal reader?

A2. There really isn't such a thing. Anyone can read my book. As long as their happy reading, then that's all. Anyone is welcomed.

Q3. What comes first for you — the plot or the characters — and why?

A3. I would say the plot comes first for me. While watching movies or tv shows, I suddenly get random ideas and put my own twist on them. Then once I have my plot in my mind, I think of the character who would suit my plot. (PS: a twist is all we want in a story, isn't it?)😏

Q4. What's your favorite and least favorite part of publishing?

A4. My favorite part of publishing is reading the comments. Seeing all the funny and kind comments give me so much pleasure. And my least favorite part of publishing is the anxiety I get after publishing a chapter. It makes me think things like, "Maybe, I didn't do good on this chapter." Or "They probably won't like this one." But in the end that anxiety goes away after reading the comments. (PS: please don't feel like that...not a single person is perfect in this world...and what we do is enough for making ourselves happy)💚

Q5. What part of the book was the most fun to write?

A5. I really enjoyed writing the scenes about the children characters, Chenle and Jisung. These scenes were fun and cute. It makes writing the book even more fun.

Q6. Which of the characters do you relate to the most and why?

A6. I relate to Sana the most. I'm willing to always be there and support my friends when needed even if they push me away. She's always happy and cares about her friends feelings over her own. (PS: I really liked her personality!)🤩

Q7. What is a significant way your book has changed since the first draft?

A7. I've become more confident and sure with my writing. I have learned to develop my characters and stick to one point of view in the story, so hopefully my book isn't all over the place anymore and can grow better.

Q8. What perspectives or beliefs have you challenged with this story?

A8. Hm, I don't really know how to answer this, but I will say that writing this story, I wanted to show my readers that not everyone is picture perfect. Everyone has something different about themselves and have different situations we don't know in their lives. (PS: nice!)👏🤞

Q9. How do you process and deal with negative book reviews?

A9. I don't get lots of negative reviews, but if I do I value everyone's opinion and would just let it be. It doesn't upset me in anyway. Though I will not tolerate bullying of any kind! Comments like those will be deleted. (PS: that's the spirit!)✨👏

Q10. What advice would you give to a writer working on their first book?

A10. I advise writers to have fun when writing. It's best to take your time and not force yourself to write for others, but write for yourself. If you have ideas, write it down instead of holding it in. Even if you don't do so good in the beginning, keep trying and don't give up. Write what makes you happy : )
