ambrosa duchet was the biggest movie buff you'd ever seen. she had seen every single stupid rom-com from the blockbusters to the same plotline hallmark movies. she knew storylines so well, after a point she would set bets with her friends at the start of the movie and end up with enough cash to feed 20 people a proper gourmet meal.
everything was going perfectly fine until her parents suddenly decided to get a divorce and before she knew it, she was docked away to her new home along with her mother, the town literally being called 'Newville'.
ambrosa came to realise that this town wasn't like the others as soon as they drove by that fancy entrance sign that read Newville. literally, everything was out from a movie.
the houses were painted in bright colours yet they were subtle enough to look realistic, somehow literally all of the people here were good looking (so was Duchet so nothing to worry) and best (or worst) of all, her neighbour was the actually kind of nice jock with blonde hair and blue eyes with a leather-jacket, motorcycle-riding, bad-boy stepbrother, both of them apparently and unnecessarily single.
talk about funny stuff, this definitely wasn't going to end well for the new girl.
