T.W.: panic attack

Tommy felt his way around his room, his hand brushing against the cool glass of Shrouds tank. He could feel the warm sunlight shining through the windows of his door. Through the ringing in his ears, he heard his spider hiss.

The boy opened one of his chests, rummaging around until he found some food. He heard the door open behind him and the soft sound of hooves on the grass floor.

"Hi Tubbo." Tommy said, his voice monotone.

"Hey Tommy."

The blonde boy could hear the smile on Tubbos face.

"Do you wanna hang out with me and Ranboo today?" Tubbo asked.

Tommy turned to face the direction of Tubbo's voice, "okay. Where we hanging out?"

"We were thinking around Ranboo's house." Tubbo's excitement was clear in his voice, "Ranboo said he found this really weird village and wanted to explore it with us!"

Tommy gripped his arms, his head falling an inch or two, "I'll pass."

Tubbo sighed, "Tommy, you haven't left your house in so long. Come on. You need to get out."

Tommy felt a hand on his arm and flinched back, "no. I-I can't go. I... I have to take care of Shroud."

"Tommy..." Tubbo started, so quiet the ringing almost drowned him out, "I know exile was hard on you, you got revived, and that Wilbur's back now, but you can't just hide away forever."

Tommy gripped his arms tighter, "he took so much from me Tubbo..."

He felt as wrap around him, "I know."

Tommy closed his eyes, not that it made a difference, and leaned into the hug. He felt Tubbo's ear flick against his cheek as the goat boy tried not to hit Tommy with his horns.

"Even without your wings, you won't fall." Tubbo told him, pulling away.

Tommy slowly opened his eyes, "thanks Tubbo. I'll... I'll hang out with you and Ranboo."

Tommy could practically feel Tubbo's smile. The boys walked out, Tommy straining his ears to listen to Tubbos footsteps. He memorized the Greater Smp, but that doesn't mean there aren't new creeper holes to avoid.

Soon Tommy heard the soft whoops of the portal. A moment later he felt himself pass through into the heat of the Nether. Tommy instinctively reached out. His hand caught Tubbo's sleeve, holding on tight as they made their way through the fiery landscape.

"What's that?" Tubbo asked.

"What?" Tommy looked in the direction of Tubbo's voice.

"Over there. There's like a weird building thing." Tubbo hummed.

Tommy shrugged, "weird. It's probably just someone project or something."

"Maybe it's a base!" Tubbo pulled Tommy a few steps, "wanna explore it!?"

Tommy took a cautious step back, "uh, weren't we meeting Ranboo?"

The blonde boy could feel Tubbo shrug, "yeah, fair enough. We should get there before night falls."

Tommy nodded. Nighttime would be a terrifying nightmare. Tommy almost tripped as he followed Tubbo to the portal, having to grip his friends sleeve tighter to avoid falling. He jumped slightly as he felt himself pass through the portal.

Snow crunched under his feet as cold air brushed back his hair. He heard Tubbo already walking through the snow. Tommy stumbled after him quickly before he got too far away to hear.

"Tubbo!" Tommy heard Ranboo call, "you actually got him!"

"Yeah!" Tubbo shouted back, "come on Tommy!"

Tommy followed Tubbo's hurried footsteps until he heard Ranboo laugh, much closer than before.

"Hello Ranboo." Tommy said, not bothering to look his direction.

"Hey Tommy." The blonde boy could feel Ranboo's smile, "I'm glad you wanted to come with."

Tommy nodded, "of course! Tommyinnit misses out on nothing!"

"Okay." Ranboo laughed, "the village is this way.

Tommy followed Tubbo's footsteps again. He didn't like Ranboo for many reasons. He was taller, older, he married his best friend without telling him. But one thing that made Tommy mad, or rather scared, was how quiet the half enderman was. He could never hear Ranboo approach and it terrified him every time. How easily he could get lost if Tubbo went out of his earshot.

"Here it is." Ranboo spoke after a while, making Tommy jump.

"Woah!" Tubbo laughed, "it's in ice! It's like a snow globe!"

Tommy chuckled lightly, "yeah, weird."

"Come on!" Tubbo grabbed Tommy, pulling him forward.

The sound of ice breaking made Tommy wince. Then it was silence. Tommy felt panic creep up in his chest. He took a few steps forward, almost slipping on ice. His eyes widened in fear. Tommy wouldn't be able to hear Tubbo's footsteps on the ice.

Tommy took a few steps back until he hit a wall of ice. His breathing started picking up. The hole in the ice should have been right there! Where was it!? His hands scrambled to find the edge of the ice, but there was just solid wall.

The ringing in Tommy's ears seemed to intensify as he slid down the wall. He was alone and lost. There was no way to get out. He was going to die here alone and cold and scared.

Tommy reached up to grip his hair. His breathing came quick and heavy. He was alone.
