A/n: I haven't been updating, mostly because of my laziness, I get demotivated when I try to write this story, I have no clue why, and I hope that I am capable of continuing to write it.

Gintoki ran, that's all he knew to do. His form ever so polished could be appreciated even by those who weren't into sports or running in general because anyone who laid eyes on him as he ran could tell that the way he ran was special, it was polished.
Gintoki currently used that running of him running away from cops while holding a small leather bag, half-open and making beeping noises. He ran through the road, running between cars, the traffic allowing him to overtake the vehicles easily. His legs were burning as he rushed through the streets as fast as he could. The bag uncomfortably sat on his right arm as he ran. He glanced at it and saw the red dot and timer of demise as he sprinted forward. How the hell had he gotten into this situation?
He could feel the airbrush against his face and the pressure of his foot as it clashed against the ground.

Gintoki had been invited by Ran to a soccer match happening in town. He wasn't too interested in soccer at all and refused the offer several times, but Ran didn't let it go, of course, she kept stating that a child should not be left alone at home. Gintoki would never complain about someone watching out for his safety, but at the same time, he couldn't help but address the irony and hypocrisy coming out of Ran Mouri giving that statement -- the same girl who let him run outside and walk around outside unsupervised was complaining about said problem. When this kind of thing happened, Gintoki would usually shrug it off, but Ran should be minding her own business in his opinion.
So now Gintoki was dragged into a soccer stadium with the rest of the self-proclaimed "detective boys" who came wearing caps of their favored soccer team... even if their team wasn't playing that day. Gintoki sat on the seat and kept looking at the inefficiencies of their running, they were unpolished and amateurish -- a lot of them couldn't see the easy cracks in the enemy defense and were unable to exploit enemy weaknesses.
He was bored and sighed -- the detective boys didn't take kindly to that, "If you're that bored you didn't have to come!"Mitsuhiko exclaimed, crossing his arms and glaring -- Gintoki leaned back on his seat and rolled his eyes, if it were up to him he'd be running across a street he hadn't visited yet -- he found exploring the city interesting, not to mention it was convenient to be familiar with the entire city.
Gintoki put his cheek and rested it on the palm of his hand, his foot tip-tapping over and over, each time faster. "Nervous foot much?" Conan asked, making Gintoki sigh and lean back, he looked down at the soccer players running and wondered if they were going slowly on purpose, Gintoki looked at Conan flirting with Haibara -- he talked about something being a 1 in 1000 chance -- he wasn't really listening, but after she said that Conan put his cap on top of her head and then pulled her to the railings to watch the game. Gintoki sighed and kept tapping his foot, for some reason when he did that time seemed to move slower -- his boredom was getting the better of him.
He stopped tapping his foot and instead closed his eyes, thinking he'd get away with a nap.
"GO SPIRITS! GO HIDE!" His eyebrow twitched, he wasn't catching a wink of sleep in this ruckus. He stopped leaning on his chair and began tapping his foot on the ground again. He felt the growl of his stomach from head to toe -- he was getting extremely hungry. He got up from his seat and searched for the inside of his jacket for pocket change, he took out whatever he could find -- it was enough for some food.
