When I came to, it didn't take me very long to realise that my limbs were intricately, but tightly wound to a chair. My thighs pressed tightly against the seat of hell, I groggily open my eyes, and I'm immediately presented to a burning headache. It's hard to think much further than the classic "where am i?", "why am I tied to a chair?" and "what's going on?", but nevertheless I did, and as my senses adapted to my surroundings I found I was bound to a cold metal chair encircled by funny looking figures. No, not figures. People. People in funky-looking costumes formed a circle around me in a blinding pattern.
red. orange. yellow.
It's hard to breathe. The leather straps are crushing my body. I look up at the people and examine their costumes, abnormally large shaped bow ties, glittered top hats and all of them are wearing suits dripping in blood. Their blood.
green. blue.
And that's when I realise.. the flamboyant people were suspended from the ceiling, led strip lights wrapped around their neck tightly, their faces concealed by a sickly smiley face scribbled over a mask and a card was stapled to each of their chests that read "WELCOME HOME, BATSY".
purple.
No.
No, no, no.
How could I let myself get caught by this..- clown!? My eyes quickly dart around the dimly lit room, searching for an exit. I stop. My eyes rest on a shadowed figure, approaching me amidst the flickering lights. The sharp clicking of heels as the silhouette walks closer towards me. I inch around in my seat, trying to create friction and loosen the grip the straps have on me. But the restraints don't budge, I'm stuck. I look down staring down at a pair of black and white spats splattered with blood."Hello, Batsy..~"
