A/N : Once again, I'll say here, I don't really know how a marriage works. I mean, I've been to wedding ceremonies before, but I didn't really pay attention to what was going on (oops jajsjdbhasjh), so forgive me if whatever that's mentioned here isn't true! Enjoy! :)
2 years later...
"Oh my gosh! You look absolutely stunning, Felicia!" Danielle gasped while Jessica showered me with compliments.
It was the day of my marriage with Daniel. We were currently in Riverside Bay Hotel, situated in the preparation room for the wedding.
I looked at myself in the mirror, admiring the gorgeous person before my eyes. My hair was braided beautifully and tucked away into a bun, along with curled tendrils. Little flower buds were nestled into my hair. I was dressed in an off-the-shoulder wedding dress with lace sleeves.
"Well, how's your relationship with Samuel?" I asked Danielle, raising my eyebrows playfully.
Danielle rubbed her neck, blushing fiercely. "Well, nothing special. Just me and him squabbling everyday and making up with each other with a kiss..." she trailed off.
I nudged her playfully, teasing, "Aww, how cute!" Then, I asked Jessica about how her relationship with George was going.
"Ah, it's been pretty smooth sailing. But I'm so glad that you and Daniel got married! Honestly, I had been getting the vibes that Daniel had liked you when we were still in a relationship, so I decided not push him too much and break up with him. I also had another person I liked, so no big deal!" Jessica said cheerfully.
Aww, she was so nice and thoughtful.
"Thanks," I grinned at her. These two girls were my bridesmaids. I was so excited for the wedding!
Suddenly, someone dashed into our room. Daniel was standing at the doorway, dressed in a grey tuxedo suit, along with his two groomsmen, Samuel and George.
As he laid eyes on me, he froze in his tracks. Daniel then raised his hands to clasp over his mouth. He then grabbed Samuel by the arm, exhaling, "Holy, you look ethereal, Felicia."
He walked towards me, taking in every inch of my body. I avoided his gaze and looked down, my face flushed.
Daniel took me by the hands and leaned in to give me a little peck. "Oh god, not here," I lowered my gaze, embarrassed.
However, no one paid any attention to me. Samuel was staring Danielle down before scooping her up into a big hug.
"You jerk, put me down! You're gonna ruin my nice dress!" Danielle smacked him playfully. Then, the two of them broke into laughter. What a cute and lovely sight. I looked to my left and saw George kissing Jessica passionately.
Oh well then, there was so much romance in this room. Who knew that there would be so many couples present tonight?
"I can't wait for tonight," Daniel whispered seductively into my ear.
"Are you seriously so hungry for... it?" He wiggled his eyebrows mischievously. I marvelled incredulously.
Daniel let out a light laugh. "Just a joke, but honestly I am quite excited for tonight." Daniel smirked at me. I rolled my eyes, a smile making its way onto my face.
Soon, it was time for the wedding. Most people had already filed in, seating at the circular tables. I was standing outside of the door, my father standing next to me, arms linked.
"I'm so proud of you, Felicia," my father sniffled. I flashed him a warm smile, reassuring him, "It's alright, Dad, don't cry."
Before I knew it, after the bridesmaids and groomsmen had finished walking out, it was my turn. My heart was palpitating fast, and I was nervous for my turn. As though my father could sense my nervousness, he put a hand on me, calming me down.
