today is a club day and good thing that youngjae saw you walking down the streets and started walking with him since. walking with youngjae is nice as he doesn't annoy you much and he might save you from further embarassment.

both of you got tired walking up to the 5th floor and once you reached the club room, yoongi and the other clubmates are not here yet and it's just you, youngjae, hongjoong and mingi this early.

they waved hi at you and you just nod at them. when you and youngjae seated down on your usual spots by the window, he looks at you in all curiousity.

"you know them?" he whispers

you lean closer to whisper back "yeah, i sorta met them when ms. puffers told me to bring their quiz results. that hongjoong guy is their class rep."

"oh, it's so new to me you speaking outside of your friendship group."

well, you also haven't seen me talking to kim seokjin and none of you will ever will.

"it was just a coincidence." you said and stared out of the windows.

when yoongi comes in with the rest of your clubmates, all of you were tasked to sing one of the songs you've written. this hella made you nervous that you don't want to move. the rest just nod and shrug except you.

"hey y/n, calm down. it's natural for that kind of activity here, why are you trembling?" youngjae asks

now you know why your friends are shocked that you're in this club. you don't even had someone listening to your voice and no one has ever listened to your listening voice yet.

you didn't care about their presentation even youngjae's. your mind is too focused on how you can sing in front of them. when youngjae finished his performance, all eyes are on you now.

yoongi calls up. "go sing your masterpiece, y/n."

they clapped for you as you walk to the front of your room and still staring at the floor. it took a good few stares and minutes before you face them with your nervous face. you look at yoongi.

"can i sing while facing the whiteboard?"

yoongi nods "go ahead."

and then you started to sing one of the songs you've written for seokjin.

all of your clubmates are in shock after hearing your voice. especially youngjae and yoongi. hongjoong and mingi are surprised too and mingi took out his phone to secretly record you and hongjoong took out his and recording a video of you singing while facing the whiteboard.

you didn't noticed some students listening and watching you by your club room door. all of them are silently listening. that already includes your friends on your batch. you started singing when kim seokjin passes by in curiosity.

when seokjin heard you, he felt his heart beating fast, he can't even explain it. he looks at you, even if you're not facing him.

when you finished singing, there's silence as a reply. you turn around to not only see your clubmates, but also other students by the door staring at you. including kim seokjin. once you saw his face, you blushed and turn back around and covered your face with your hands.

"oh no no no."

did you just sing one of the songs you've written for him while he's there listening? this can't be true. what if you're obvious? what if he notices and suddenly he looks down in you?

"that's y/n!!!" lisa then cheered and all of them started to clap.

you slowly turn around to see people cheering at you and saying wonderful stuff. it slowly made you lighten up and you projected them a small smile.

lunch came you suddenly became uncomfortable at the way some students are looking at you. once sitdown with your friendship group, you can't help being more nervous than usual.

"you okay, y/n?" hoseok asks

"why are some people looking at me?"

"now you know why we're all shocked you joined that club. all of them can sing." taehyung answered.

"it's fine, y/n! all of us are actually amazed by your performance. no need to worry about it." lisa assures you as she continues feeding you some snacks which you absentmindedly go with the flow with.

"but there were lots of them. how did they even know?" then all of them became silent and looks at jimin. jimin just smiled at you then you raise a brow at him. "does it have to do something with you?"

"no."

"park jimin" you growled.

"he actually asked yoongi for what you guys be doing and announced it to us. some of the students might've heard it." hoseok finally spoke.

you stand up to playfully slap jimin's shoulder and started to argue with him.

when classes ended, you went to your locker to get all the things you needed before heading home. as you opened it, there is a folded paper and you checked on it.

i heard your beautiful voice and i am awestruck. like you always are, amazing is an understatement.

you're stared at the paper and felt excited as you feel that this might be your seokjin. s can be seokjin, right? there's nothing wrong to suspect that it might be him. he's the only s that is close to you, after all.
