CHAPTER 4
I wake up, I'm my own bed. Dad must have carried me up last night. I reach over to my phone and see it's 11:30, I've not woken up this late in 2 months when we had 2 weeks off but it's Saturday now so that means I can sleep in. I realise I'm still in my clothes from last night. I take off my leggings and go into my drawer and take out some comfortable Nike shorts and put them on. I take off my shirt that's over Callum's hoodie but keeps Callum's hoodie on
"Morning gorgeous" mum smiles as I walk downstairs "hi mum" I walk around and give her a hug before slumping on the couch next to Dad "Prin" Ronnie attempts to climb up onto the sofa to get a morning hug "Come here baby" I lift him up and he rests his head on my chest and I stroke his back gently
"Got any plans for today?" Dad asks as he's now helping mum with breakfast "No, not really was going to just buy some clothes online but that's just about it" Ronnie is back on the floor playing with his toys now "Clothes from online that you do not need?" Mum asks dishing out the food "exactly, although I do need outfits for Leeds Fest" I pour myself a glass of orange juice and get out two more glasses and Ronnie's drinking cup
"oh yeah I forgot about that, Brain called me a couple weeks ago" Dad speaks "yeah Brain said it's the full weekend and we are staying in a hotel. I get my own room do not need to panic" Dad decides to ignore my comment about his helicopter parenting
"Hey Princess, I think your phones ringing" Dad points to my phone that's vibrating on the sofa, I quickly movie to the sofa and see it's an unknown number. I quickly answer "Remi" I put the phone between my ear and walk back to the kitchen
"awh, you answered to me" Danny's voice greats me from the other end
"I thought I blocked you" I sigh
"maybe you didn't"
"I mean I will now goodb-"
"No don't hang up let me ask you something"
"No, depends on what and my dad is right here so if you want to-"
"No!" He yells "don't put your dad on" he says more quietly
Dad drops the cutlery he was holding and turns around fast
"scared of my dad? because he is definitely not your biggest fan"
"no I'm not scared of your dad"
"Yeah whatever. are you going to ask this question today or?"
"That guy you were with yesterday, is that your boyfriend?"
"I was with a group of 15 boys dicko! You're going to need to extend!" I yell down the phone
"The guy that didn't let go of you!" He yells back
"Callum? What's it to you?"
"I still care about you Mia-"
"No, no, no. You are not ruining my morning! We broke up nearly a year ago! You don't get to sit back and claim that you now care about me. My family don't like you especially my Dad! So if my family don't like you then you're out. Got it? Don't bother calling back"
