Migrating bird

I was sitting in a seat on a train when I heard a familiar voice behind me in the seat behind me, "Ms. Sandiego, I presume." I turned around to see Carmen and Chase in the booth behind me, "Ugh" I waved to them, "Oh hey guys! Been a while!"

They turned to see me, "Crow? Where you heading?"

"Miss, hello. I never got your name but I presume you are named Crow. Ms. Argent told me you were running errands. I thought you were lost."

I rubbed the back of my neck, "U-Uh... Y-Yeah... Then I remembered I was lost.... Because I forgot I was lost..."

"I almost did not recognize you, Ms. Sandiego, without your evening wear."

"Aren't you a bit out of your jurisdiction, Inspector Devineaux?"

"I recently acquired greater authority."

"That's awfully vague, Inspector. Is it even 'Inspector' anymore?"

"Enough chitchat!"

"Where are you hiding the Magna Cartas?"

"Me? Nowhere. But they are closer than you think."

"You will take me to them."

"Or what? You'll cuff me?"

Chase took out cuffs from his coat, "Why, yes." I looked at them both, "Look guys, no need to start stuff. I think we should just settle down-"

I was cut off by the area going dark and cuffing noises, When we got out of the tunnel Chase was cuffed to the seat and Carmen was gone. Chase stuttered, "Wh-What? No. No, no, no!" I looked at him, "I-I'll uh... Stay with you.."

Not too long later Ms. Argent came in the train booth and saw us, "Agent Devineaux? Miss..."

"Crow."

"How did you-"

"Nevermind that! The keys are in my briefcase!"

After we left the train I said goodbye, "Leaving again?" I looked at Ms. Argent, "Heh, what can I say? Migrating bird, maybe we'll meet again."
