The crow

Short story

I went to Mexico with the crew. My wings finally out of their casts so I could fly. Not in public of course. I saw Chase and Julia in the entrance and I smiled. Sure Chase thought of us as an enemy, but I'm a neutral force. I'm not a good or bad guy. The show started and two masked woman came from the curtan. The fighting was not fake. I looked around and saw Chase chasing a decoy so I went up to Julia, "Julia! The fighting is not fake!" After I gave her the advice I went to chase Chase since I'm not a fan of violence. Chase cuffed his arm and Carmen's arm together. As Chase was about to speak I pock licked the cuffs and recuffed Chase's arm to my arm and went to the exit.

"Crow?! Let me go!" He struggled but I kept moving, "Sorry Chase, but I'm not a fan of violence and I can't let you ruin Carm's mission." Chase went to get the keys to the cuffs but a crow snatched them. "What the?!"

"Sorry, Chase. But I really can't let you leave my side right now." Julia ran over to us, "Devineaux? Crow?" Once I got intel that the fight was over from a crow I released Devineaux. He called his car with the keys just as Brunt jumped onto it and ran. Devineaux whimpered and Julia put her hands over her mouth. I was about to leave but Chase grabbed my hoodie, "Oh no you don't! My car got crushed and you stopped me from catching Carmen Sandiego! I will be taking you to chief!"

I struggled but he wouldn't let go, "Chase, stop! You're hurting her!" Julia pulled on Chase to try and pry him off, then my hoodie slipt off. Revealing my wings.

They both gasped and I grabbed my hoodie and quickly flew off.
