Squinting her eyes open, Kiana found herself with a large weight strung across her stomach, keeping her still. It wasn't until she fully opened her eyes, that she found that the weight was infact Luca's strong inked arm - keeping her in place so that she wouldn't run off.

He knew her too well

But the thing was, was that last night was so different to what she originally expected to happen, she didn't even think about sneaking off. The idea of leaving Luca's apartment without any trace of herself before he woke up, didn't even cross her mind.

She wanted to stay.

She wanted to stay in his arms.

With him

She wanted that

She wanted him

She wanted him in her life, forever.

"Buongiorno bellezza" (Good morning beautiful) Luca said in a gruff morning voice

"I don't know what you just said but I liked the way it sounded" she said which earned her a rumble of laughter from Luca's chest, as he clutched her tighter, making her look up at him

"We really have done this all wrong, haven't we?" She mumbled

"What do you mean?" He raised his eyebrows, liking the idea of waking up with Kiana in his arms for the rest of his life

"I mean us, I mean sleeping together, telling each other our professions, meeting friends and family, we've done it so backwards" she explained as Luca couldn't help but shrug because there was nothing normal about the two of them, he had his therapist in his bed and here she was talking about them not doing things normally - like anything about them was normal

Humming in approval, Luca rebuttalled with, "And yet this is the first moment we've just been here in the moment and not rushed off. To have just a moment of peace for the two of us" he said truthfully because that's what he'd figured out over the past few months, he wasn't obsessed, he wasn't fixating on Kiana - he wanted her close because he knew in a way she was his peace and he gave her hers.

"I-" she stumbled on her words because he was right, she was at peace, she was at peace in his inked arms. She wasn't stressing about work, she wasn't worried about her next manic or depressive episode, she was just at peace - living in the moment and that moment was Luca

"But as you said last night, you wanted normalcy, So then let's do this normally. I'll ask you a question and you answer, as I should've done on our date but my mind was preoccupied on wanting you back here, naked in my bed" he said with a smirk, which resulted in a smack to the chest from Kiana as she rolled her eyes as he continued, "So what do you want in the future? How do you see yourself living? What do you dream of when you think of the perfect life?" He asked genuinely, wanting to give her everything she was about to confess

Quietly, Kiana mumbled, "I don't know"

In a low gruff voice, as Luca gently pinched her thigh under the covers he said, "Yes you do" warning her not to lie to him

"I mean, i guess when I was younger I wanted to be a lot of things, but I also thought I'd have a normal family, but who I kidding" she laughed unassumingly, "But one thing I did always say to myself is that I want kids, or even a kid - just a family - a loving family where I get to come home from work everyday and greet. I want a life where I'm just happy, you know? Like just for me to have someone there, someone who won't leave me, not that I have to rely on them to make me happy, but I just want someone that can just hug me on my bad days and just say I'm here-" she smiled at the thought
