Chapter Six (Rewrite)

America would sigh in relief. The only thing the young woman heard was the crickets that hid in the tall grass and the thick bushes, heard the fast pounding of her beating heart and the panting that came from herself and the other.

"I killed everyone."

Now only began to sob harder - it made her head hurt. Her vision blurry from the tears that rushed down her face.

"Do not say that! It's not your fault! It's okay . . . It's okay . ."

Russia had yelled and immediately grabbed the woman's attention. Moved closer to her and gave her a big bear hug. He was never the best at comforting but this was enough to calm down America.
Her sobs had soon faded as now she only sniffled.

"What are we going to do?"

America whispered - soft as she lowered her head. Feeling guilty knowing that it is her fault. Saying sorry won't right her wrongs now.

BANG

Both America and Russia had flinched and quickly turned to their attention to where the loud noise had came from.
It was a large group of people - people who didn't look very friendly. At least that's what the two young countries has thought.
Sadly they were right -

Another bang.

Russia had pushed America as he had pushed himself backwards now a bullet dug into the ground.
America quickly had stood up as well as Russia, almost falling in the process.

"Oi! Give us all the things you got and maybe I won't blow off one of your heads!"

It seems the leader of the group had said making the other members chuckle.
Russia had narrowed his eyes as he slowly moved in front of America. It made her feel strange but in a way, America actually liked it.

"We have nothing on us so leave us alone. Move along now!"

Russia quickly replied to the leader and it seemed to make them laugh.

"Oh, you are so funny . . . Sadly I kinda doubt that."

It's me! Yay- I'm actually feeling a little better (mentally) and a little more confident with my writing skills. Because of that - I may actually continue this book and many others. Only Countryhumans books though. ^^'
