THE CIA OPENING

CHAPTER 15
                               
       I laid down  on my bed feeling  clueless about all that took place at the parking lot that evening, who the heck is that guy anyways and why does the other guy want him dead I said viewing  the business card in my hand,  hmmm MICHEAL TAN COOPRATION. Sounds interesting let me check this out, I took my phone and called the number on the card. Yes who is this? A voice from the phone probed, I am the guy you gave your business card some moments ago. Boss I think this is for you the voice replied under the phone, yeah friend how are you doing? Thanks for saving my life I was meant to rip out that mother fucker’s tongue before I got him killed he said, by the way Michael right? Yeah he replied. Why does he want you dead and who is he anyways I asked out of curiosity since that has been bothering me, that i can’t  tell you on the phone how about you pay me a visit so that we can talk about things better and know your identity Michael replied.
  Not bad I will see you on Friday then I replied wanting to end the conversation, alright then will be expecting you I would drop my address after this call{phone cuts}. After the call a message popped up from my phone, “guess that must be the address”. I then switched on the TV to check out things going on in the state when another news reported. JUST IN …ACCORDING TO OUR REPORT FROM THE CIA HEADQUATERS, THE DIRECTOR OF THE CIA HAS CONFIRMED AND REVIEWED THE RESULTS OF THE CANDIDATES WHO TOOK THE EXAMINATION ONLY FIFTY OF THE APPLICANTS REACHED THE REQUIRED EXPECTATIONS AND ARE TO REPORT AT THE HEADQUATERS AT TEXAS FOR FUTHER ENLIGHTENMENT IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS. THE NAMES OF THE SUCESSFUL CAANDIDATES WOULD BE DISPLAYED ACCORDING TO THEIR PEERFORMANCES. THERE WAS A COUNTDOWWN DISPLAYED ON THE SCREEN 5,4,3,2,1,……..
What the heck…….15th place, Alice 10th place? Guess she didn’t need my help anyways, what about her brother I said looking intensively at the screen, seems he didn’t make it. Wait a minute I don’t even know his name, I would wait till tomorrow to be sure maybe he would be present at the headquarters. I yawned heavily as I turned off the TV, I have a big day tomorrow I guess saying this I squeezed myself inside my blanket and before I knew it I was lost all the way in the dreamland.[grinnn] my annoying alarm clock woke me up from my sleep, I sluggishly raised my hand up to stop the clock from making that noisy sound and then flung my blanket to one side of the room as I maneuvered my way to the bathroom to freshen up, had breakfast and hurried up to my car. 45 minutes later……. I arrived at the location, my map directed me to the CIA headquarters. Whao this place looks cool I commented coming out of my car, I walked quite stylishly on my new pair of suit into the  headquarter. I met people chatting all along all in suits as we waited for further instruction, can’t stand to face Alice right now. Gosh I am such a fool I shouldn’t have offered her any help the other day, suddenly I sighted that guy walking towards my way as I tried my best to make a quick escape to avoid him when I turned back only to see Alice at my front with her hands folded. Guess you are the one named Derrick she said, as I was about to reply her the communication system spoke aloud.
Let all successful applicant gather at the hall for further enlightenment by the rookies planning department instructor {RPD} immediately after this announcement thanks. Soon enough people started moving in as I seized that opportunity to move with the crowd and avoid Alice, we all stood in an orderly manner as we awaited the director to show his face. After minutes of waiting he finally showed up in a black overall suit and a black pair of glasses as some guys surveyed him at his posterior.{clears his throat}I welcome you all to the CIA, even though not everybody are going to make it to the end. This is not to scare you but that was just the fact I mentioned, now the fifty of you that passed the first phrase of the screening which is the written examination now are going to advance to the second phrase which is the physical training for real agents. Remember this is not going to be an easy task because we are training secret agents and not cops so we are not going through the same course and mind you after every phrase there would be an eradication that would take place.
From now on, there would be a place perhaps outside this state that would be preserved for you guys till the end of the training, make sure when coming back tomorrow you take all  you need because we are going on a trip. We are meeting same time tomorrow and same place so be sure to come early so as to catch up with the bus.  Any question concerning what I just said? The director asked looking around for any hands if there are not any questions, you are all dismissed!!!. Seems this CIA isn’t a joke I said to myself as we all planned to leave to our respective termini, pray I don’t path with Alice again. Am sure she is goanna mock me if she sees me, why am I even scared to face her it makes me look like a dummy.
Hey Alice how are you doing I fluttered and smiled as she drew near where I was, yeah you wanted to say something the other time right I added. About that examination {knowing where she was going to I prepared my mind planning on what I was going to reply her}, I saw you got 15th place. Thank goodness I didn’t accept your good deeds she said mockingly. Yeah I know 10th place, I wasn’t really planning on giving my best during the examinations because I don’t believe in writing so you have no reason to boast on your performances I replied. Who said I was boasting, don’t get me wrong she replied and walked out on me hissing. I heaved a sigh of relieve as I overcame one of those things bothering me.
