IVY POV

It's been a year since everyone's death.  I am now in 10th grade.  Holly and I are still in a happy and healthy relationship luckily, and school is going great.  What she doesn't know is that I've been lying to her often.  Lying about how I haven't been looking for the one behind it all, that's what I call him or her.  And I've been.. hurting myself specifically on my wrists.  I mean the scars are old but I still cover them up.  I am currently laying in bed with Holly while we watch Gilmore Girls-rewatch it to be more specific.

"Holly Ivy where are you both??" Ms Jess yells.

I run out of bed and sit on the floor.

"There you two are!" She opens our door. "Do you know who's out there??"

"Who?" I ask.

"Tony Stark is looking to adopt."

Oh shit..

"Oh, I'm not a fan of him, Holly can go." I tell her.

"Well sometimes it's not about the person and more about the adoption, get out there now." She raised her voice but not too much.

"Yes ma'am" Holly said, pausing the TV.

"Thank you Holly.  Now you too, Ivy.  Now!"

"Alright fine!" Ok Ivy, he doesn't know it's you.  He might not even be interested in you!

"Sorry, Ivy was giving me a hard time." Ms Jess told Mr Stark.  She was pulling me by the wrist.

"Ma'am, your hurting my wrist." I tell her.  The cuts still hurt even if they were from a while ago.

"Next time go deeper" She whispers in my ear.  My jaw dropped.  Did she seriously just say that.  How did she know??

"Hello?" Mr Stark asked, snapping me back to reality.

"Oh I'm so sorry, um, what did you say?" I ask, feeling a little embarrassed.

"What did you say your name was?"

"Ivy-Lourde.  Ivy Lourde." I answer.

"Hm, I'll have her."

My eyes went wide.  "Me?! Why me? I mean I'm very grateful but-"

"Well you don't look too young but not too old either, how old are you?"

"15"

"Alright yeah I'll have her."

"Ok, Ivy you can pack." Ms Jess smiled at me.

LATER

"I don't wanna leave!" I tell Holly.

"I know" She said, helping me pack.

"I like watching Gilmore Girls with you and I like cuddling with you."

"I know."

"I'm gonna miss you."

"You can always visit, and you'll see me at school." She kissed me.

"I'm scared.  What if he finds out?"

"It'll be ok.  I promise."

I trust her.  I always have and always will.

"Bye Holly."

"Bye Ivy."

LATER

"Everyone she's here." Mr Stark said, when we walked into Stark Tower.  I look around before everyone came to say hi to me. I run into the window. You know, THE WINDOW!! The one I got thrown into a year ago. Good memories. Back when Sir, Alex, Gabe and Ash were alive. Back when I was too scared to get 6 feet close to this tower. Too scared to run into the avengers again, as Ivy or as Miss Speedy. Ah, good times.
