Ninas 16th birthday

Nina's POV 7.58 am

Today is my birthday! Can't believe I'm turning 16!!!! I'm having a sweet sixteen birthday party and I'm inviting all my high school friends and my gran says she has something important to tell me, *hmm I wonder what's it's about* anyway I havnt seen my parents in years I just hope they show up for my 16th party! I miss them soooo much!

Nina's grans POV

Today is Nina's birthday and i really need to tell her the secret about her parents but I don't want to make her cry on her birthday! She's has the right to know and she is old enough so I have to tell her...maby not just today though...

Nina's POV

I put on a silk blue dress with one shoulder strap on, I curl my hair and put on my turquoise heels! I come down stairs (lol Ik walking down stairs with heels on what am I thinking) and there are banners everywhere saying happy 16th birthday nina! 'Oh nina u look so beautiful..' My gran says in amazement 'thanks gran' I say and give her a big hug! My gran goes to finish making the food and I wait for my friends to arrive!

20 mins later...Nina's friends kacey, Megan, Georgia, Amelia , lauren, Charlotte,Abby and Keira arrive and they all go chat about boys and school. And have dinner and dance to music. When it gets dark they watch a scary movie called blood and bones. Halfway through the movie nina goes to a restroom to get away cuz she's not keen on scary movies. Nina is about to leave when suddenly she noticed something glowing on the wall.

Nina's POV

There's a red circle of light on the wall it is in the shape of my necklace (picture of her mum and dad in, the locket which sarah gives her is connected to her necklace)
I touch the glowing orb of light 'ouch' I shreik that was hot it left a burnt mark on the top of my pointed finger. My necklace of flips open by itself and the picture of my parents goes all blurred, how is it doing that? I think! I start to get really creeped out so I turn to leave but as I reach for the door handle the door slams shut I then run to twist the handle and I can't get out. ' 'help' I scream 'GRAN'. 'Nina, where are you?' My gran shouts. I'm about to tell her when the WHLOE room goes dark and the room starts spinning, I feel like I'm in an elevator going down and down... The lights come back on and I'm suddenly in a room... A room I've never seen before I think it is underneath the house (Nina's house is one of Frobisher creations but she doesn't know it nor does anyone else) the room is filled with books, maps, potions, Egyptian objects, but I can't touch any of it cuz it's shield protected by a big green and red bubble like wtf and it is just so fascinating yet confusing like why am I here? How do I get out? My head is filled with questions and speaking of Heads mine really hurts but I don't know why. I look round the room, there is no door, I start banging on the walls for someone to get me out but no one can hear me obviously! Ugh I sink to the floor and lean my back against the wall, I look at the picture of my parents in my necklace and I remember I miss them so much and I wonder if they are back and are upstairs waiting for me with gran & friends. I start to cry and wonder if I'm ever gonna get out of here! I kinda face the fact that I'm gonna die alone in here. As I close my locket I gonna into what look like a flashback: 15 years ago: my parents are in their car talking about some evil magic they want to protect me from, the car goes further away into the distance I hear a loud piercing crash and and two loud screams and everything goes black I hear the words 'we love u nina'

The flashback ends and nina realises that her parents are dead. She crys harder and she doesn't know whether what she saw was in the present or in the past or if it was real or just a dream. Black smoke fills the room and nina falls into a sleep.
