Chapter 6: all the things he said

James and Alita weren't the kind and loving siblings, James would tease her and Alita would retaliate. But sometimes James would go too far.

"Hello loser", Alita yelled as she passed James in the hallway 

"Go away disappointment, actually you're not a disappointment you're a fucking mistake! Fuck off", James snapped back

That left Alita speechless, how did "hello loser" lead to being called a disappointment and a mistake? But Alita thought she was being over sensitive and dramatic, she wasn't though. She should be used to this, right? No. James never used to treat her that way but when he started Hogwarts that's when he started to treat Alita badly.

Alita being shocked at what her own brother said ran to the the bathroom, She looked in the mirrors trying to hold all her tears back.

"Stop being dramatic, Alita", She mumbled to herself over and over

"Stop being dramatic!", At this point she was in tears, she didn't know what to do with herself anymore. As she walked out the bathroom she looked down so no one saw her tears but she accidentally ran into Remus.

"Hey hey, watch we're you're going Alita", he chuckled 

"S-sorry", she tried to speak

"Alita? Are you alright?", Remus was immediately worried

"Mhm I'm great", she said looking down at her shoes

"Alita, what did James do this time?", Remus hugged her "let's go somewhere private and less crowded", Remus whispered, Alita just nodded and followed Remus. 

"Ok, what did he say?", Remus said softly 

"I'd rather not talk about it, I'm just pathetic", Alita sighed

"You're not pathetic!", Remus tried to convince her, of course she didn't believe him. 

Alita kept on looking away from Remus so then she wouldn't start crying again.

"Alita, I'm always here if you need me... okay?", Remus told her

"Ok", Alita smiled a little 

"I'll try to convince James to be nicer to you too.", Remus said

"You don't have to", Alita said

"No. I have to", Remus insisted 

"Fine", Alita rolled her eyes

"And Alita, always remember you're enough.", Remus said then left
