Chapter 7

Alita decided to try to be nicer towards James, It was hard to start with but he slowly became nicer to her.

"Hello Alita", James said

"Hello?", Alita said in a confused tone 

"Have you done the homework?", James asked

"Yes, why are you asking?", Alita replied 

"Uhhh for a friend?", James lied

"What friend? Since when did you have friends?", Alita asked

"You stole half of my friends!", James answered 

"Because I'm more interesting than you that's why", Alita jokingly said

"Ha. Ha. Funny.", James said sarcastically 

"I'm not trying to be funny I'm serious", She continued messing with him

"Allie-", James said in a fed up tone, but that stopped Alita. James hasn't called her that in years.

"I'm sorry uhh I'm gonna go", James said and then left. Alita's memories of her and James came back, she didn't hate James she just wanted her older brother to be who he used to be. Alita stood there in shock for awhile.

"Hello Alita!", Remus yelled 

"AHHH", Alita screamed 

"I- I've been trying to talk to you for hours but you keep replying with 'mhm' and 'sure' so I had no choice I had to scare you so you'd listen", Remus said

"You petrified me", Alita said still scared

"Oh well I'm sorry!", Remus said sassily 

"Hey are you alright", Alita asked

"No! Cuz Sirius said 'oh let's take a break' WHY DO WE NEED TO TAKE A FUCKING BREAK!", Remus  said still angry 

"Woah- hold up, Sirius said that?", Alita asked

"YES DID YOU NOT HEAR ME!?", Remus yelled

"I heard you- calm down!", Alita yelled slightly 

"FINE", Remus sighed and put his face in his hands

"Remus- wait are you crying?", Alita said in shock "I've never seen you cry before", she continued. Remus completely ignored her, she had no choice but to hug him.

"Remus, it's just a boy you'll be fine", Alita tried to comfort him but it clearly wasn't working because he continued to sob more

"Wow- uhh", she said wondering what to say

"Remus, I'm not great with sympathy so maybe try and talk about it?.", Alita suggested, Remus did reply but it sounded like gibberish due to the fact he was crying hysterically. 

"I did not understand that", Alita mumbled. Remus quickly wiped his tears away and looked up 

"Im going to kill him.", Remus said

"I- no you're not!", Alita stopped him from walking off

"No why would I do that?", Remus asked

"I'm not sure", Alita answered 

"I'll think about what I'll do then", Remus said then walked off to the library.

Why the library? Because it's Remus' thinking place.
