As they proceeded to enter Daves building, they stated thunking of what they would do at this sleepbrover. Once they climbed the mount Everest of stairs to daves apartment, karkat face planted on the couch while dave put in a movie. They had not decided what kind of movies so dave took the liberaty of making the executive decision, and choose a horror movie. The purge to be precise.
LETS LOOK AT KARKATS MIND
Karkat was just laying on the couch and then dave sat on him, without warning. Karkat took this as a signal to move, so he somehow managed to poush dave off of him and then moved to the other side of the couch. Once he noticed what movie they were to watch he flipped his shit.
“ Dave. Really. Are you fucking serious? Are you just doing this to make me look like a baby or something? Cause you know I seriously dislike horror movies.”
“nah bro. just couldn’t find anything else to watch. But if you don’t think your though enough to take such a lame movie as the purge.” Dave was obviously trying to make karkat feel in superior, and it worked.
“I can take this bullshit. I got this. Press play.”
This ended the conversation. Dave has seen this movie a million times. He probably knows it word for word. But he is not aloud to up stage karkat. Not happening. As the movie continues on dave stayed calm and didn’t even blink as far as anyone could tell and whilst this was happening karkat was curling into a ball under a blanket trying to forcibly be one with the corner of the couch.
