8.34AM, The Pogtopia Building

Wilbur stormed into the meeting room with a scowl on his face and newspapers in his hand. He slammed the paper down onto the table before walking around the table and harshly seating himself down onto the table.

Nobody needed to speak to realize what this meeting was about. They all saw what had happened over the news, or they heard the commotion coming from outside their offices. It was the only thing any media channel aired and they already were getting flooded with emails from protesters to abolish the laws or change them. Many establishments had been vandalized by the riot which lead to thousands of complaints from big companies to sort it out.

It was all a big, big mess.

Jack sighed before clearing his throat.
"Look, we can't all sit just here and wish it didn't happen. We need to change some things or-"
"Shut up Jack." Wilbur snapped at him. He glared at Jack angrily before speaking again. "Just shut up."

Tubbo coughed to bring the attention to him.
"I'm sorry Wilbur but we really do need to discuss what happened." Wilbur scoffed before slumping back in his chair like an angry child after a lost argument.
Tub o glanced at him momentarily before continuing. "I think that we definitely need to abolish those laws. They only brought the people harm. I mean, we invaded their privacy plus we took away their rights to have guns."

Eret snorted. "I don't think that last one is them being mad, Tubbo. It's probably just that gang leader Technoblade that wanted that one gone. And that Dream guy."
Wilbur and Tommy flinched at the name Technoblade, as if they had remembered something long forgotten.

They all stayed in silence until Eret looked up at someone at the end of the table. "So... you were right Ranboo." The two haired man look startled, as if he was suddenly awoken from his day dream. He looked around at everyone at the table looking at him and cleared his throat.
"Well, I guess I was right." He muttered slowly.

"Right about what?" Tommy asked as he looked at Ranboo.
Ranboo looked towards Eret, waiting for him to answer, but when none came he replied softly. "I told Mr Eret that the new laws would make the people angry, perhaps they would riot. And they did..."

The table was again engulfed in a thick silence that scared the people around the table, however none of them wanted to break the silence. Some people were disappointed, others upset, some were angry, but one was hiding a grin.

Eret sighed. "Alright, I'm going to announce that I abolish the new laws."
Wilbur stood up abruptly and slammed his fists onto the dark wood table. "No, don't! If the people can't accept that we're trying to keep them safe then they can very well stay upset. This is for their own good." He shouted with fire in his eyes.

Jack stood up now. "But they don't feel safe! Cant you tell they don't like having their homes raided for no reason? Cant you tell they don't like the taxes?"

"To hell with the taxes! If they can't pay up they'll just have to leave the city now won't they?" Wilbur argued back, obviously irritated.

"But they can't move! Their money is our only way to profit and to supply them with better things!" Jack raised his hand as he was speaking.

Eret muttered something under his breath before standing up and slamming paper onto the desk. Everyone turned to face him.
"Sit down and stop acting like children!" He shouted and the two hooligans sat down quickly. "We are abolishing the laws, no further discussion." Wilbur looked ready to jump in to the conversation, however he shut his mouth and stayed silent.

"But we do need to talk about a certain mafia leader that may cause us a lot of trouble." Eret sat down and tucked his chair in slowly.

"The Techno one?" Tubbo asked.
"No, Dream." Eret said his name through gritted teeth. "He's already caused two big problems that we have to solve, imagine what he could do in the future!"

A few people shuddered at the thought of having a mafia leader on their tail. They all looked towards Eret in hopes that he would continue what he was talking about.

Eret gestured towards Tommy. "Tommy, I'd like for you to bring together some of our best spies and military officers to form one big group. As a team they will track down and eliminate Dream and his' entire gang of criminals, got that?"
Tommy nodded eagerly. "Yes sir."

"Good. I would also like new teams of officers to patrol the entirety of the modern side of L'manberg. Make sure there are no protesters at all, even if they are peaceful."

A light drizzle began to shower outside, the light grey clouds forming a thin layer over the blue sky.

"Tubbo, I would also like you to work on promoting the police as a good thing that people should join and feel safe around. Put up commercials, flyers, paint murals, I don't care as long as it helps the police force. Ranboo, as head of education in L'manberg you must find a way to include the promotion of the government and police within the education system."

Ranboo sighed. He knew there was no way out of this and if he declined he would seem even more suspicious then he already was. "I guess I could ask elementary schools to have 15 minutes of watching that child news program, which does talk about issues going on in L'manberg."

Eret raised an eyebrow. "Just the issues?" He questioned.

"No!" Ranboo exclaimed. "I mean... not only the issues, they do talk about what changes we're making and about things we do outside of work. Like the other day there was a short segment about Wilbur and Tommy going to the movies."
Tommy laughed while Wilbur cracked his first smile that meeting.

"For middle school, they could do an hour after school of volunteer work for the police stations in their local area; like planting flowers, cleaning, running errands and so on. They could also help paint murals for the police, or perhaps to art projects about them?"

Eret smiled. "Thats a great idea, good job Ranboo."

Wilbur raised a hand. "Sir, what should me and Jack do?"
"You could help Tommy with organizing Dream's capture, I'm sure he would love some extra help." Eret responded with a sly smile on his face.

Jack and Wilbur groaned in annoyance while Tommy raised his fist in triumph.

Eret stood up from his chair. "I think that concludes our meeting for today, thank you all for coming and please work on the capture of Dream." Everyone nodded before they left.
