I got to work at my regular time 11:30 I work at a book store with my best friend Chantelle.

"Hey y/n do you mind covering the register for me I have to use the bathroom" She asked

"Yeah sure go ahead"

I began to take some books off the cart and put them on some shelves right behind me. I heard the open

"Hi ma'am where are your kid books I want to get something exciting for my niece" the Mysterious boy asked

"Yeah kid books are on the 3rd row and by the way I recommend dork diary it's funny" I said while looking at his veiny hands

"Alright then I'll check it out do you mind coming with me to make sure I get the right book"

I started getting butterflies in my stomach which hurts a lot

"Sure"
