16.Performance

Y/N point of view:

I spent the day with snake in the main tent rehearsing our act. He was to come out first and I mysteriously appeared from behind as the new abomination to be shown like a zoo animal on display.

As the day went by, I quickly finished up rehearsing and left the tent without anyone to look for the demon or the master.

While walking around the campus I heard Ciel's annoying voice screech my ears. 'Let me go' was all I heard. He must be in danger!

I swiftly started to run quickly towards where I heard the voice which led myself to the entrance of the mens shower. I saw the person Ciel was room mated with and went up to that person.

"Have you seen smile anywhere?" I asked politely even though from the person's bashful face and exhaustion i could tell they were behind ciel shouting.

"He ran off and I'm not sure where he went". I nodded and walked away to look around, or should i say sniff.

I followed the scent of the master until I reached a corner far away from where everyone else was. I hid behind a large box and listened in on ciels and sebastian's conversation.

"You'll catch a cold my lord. I bought a change of clothing," Sebastian aporched ciel and placed a towel on top of his cold wet body.

"Enough", ciel began.

"Pardon?" Sebastian said with his unsympathetic voice.

"I said I had enough!", ciel raised his voice. I will admit I was taken aback by his voice and words. I continued to listen in. "If i have to continue this i swear i will go mad".

This is probably the first time I have seen a young master like this. He buried his face into his knees and shaked a little. He shows humanity. He shows that he is still human with emotions. No one can always hold in their true feelings and that's ok, even for a child like himself who went through so much and still has to live it.

"Goodness my lord" the demon began, "giving up already now are we?", of course the demon heartlessly plays with the boy's emotion with no sympathy.

He continued to emotionally manipulate the boy, saying how he never showed such emotion before. Not like himself. I wanted to interfere, but I wanted to see a real conversation between the two without myself in the picture.

Ciel sighed and got up. "I am the head of the phantom hive company. It is not like me to act like this. We have a job to do. We finish this as quickly as possible"

There was a small pause. I wasn't sure why they stopped speaking. I decided to peek around the box to see what was happening... only to my surprise they were both looking at me!

"wAH" I fell back onto my butt. "Wha-when did you know i was here??"

"It was quite an obvious miss, your ears did show above the box", the demon chucked.

Damn, I need to hide better in this area.

While the butler clothed the boy, Ciel spoke about what we need to do soon while we have the opportunity to investigate. However it is quite difficult when the demon is being watched by the reaper who won't let him investigate and myself being a part of the act so soon.

No ones pov:

Eveyones now preparing for the main event,
Y/N has already started to get ready for the performance with Snake and the other main crew so she won't be able to accompany Ciel and his butler to investigate.

As soon as the two had an opening to check out the high tier tents, the joker ran up to Sebastian and mentioned one of the performers can not perform. So Sebastian must perform the act.
