No one POV:
Y/N poored fresh tea prepared by Sebastian into the earls small cup.
Sebastian attending the other servents who were, as usual, not doing their duties properly so she was ordered to accompany the young master.
Ciel raised the cup gently and sipped on the steaming treat.
Y/N stood politly next to her lord. A little bored she admited. Is this was Sebastian does all day?
She eyed around the room and saw a chess set perfectly set up decoratively on a table. Usually guests that visit ends up playing against ciel. He is very good at it from what she seen, never lost.
Ciel noticed she was eyeing it and said, "if you want to play you can say so" he said sipping one more gulp of the tea.
"Oh well I'm not very good at it, I don't think I remember the rules". She responded.
"Set the table up and we will play". He ordered.
Y/N prepared the chess and placed two chairs on opposite sides. Y/N sat on one side back to the window while the child master sat where the window faces him.
Ciel then explained the rules and Y/N took them in board and started to play.
Each time she made a poor move her lord would mention it and tell her to do something else, teaching his pupil to be a better player.
"It would feel utterly shameful if I were to beat you within a couple of minutes" he said.
"Well let's hope I win then" she said cheekily.
Ciel was allowing her to win, each move he took Y/N managed to take.
"Young master I think im going to beat you! You have not helped me since as well. Maybe you met your match!" She cheered, taking her next move.
She saw the boy chuckled low, which caught her of guard questioning.
"What's so funny?" She asked.
The boy just smirked and he took his move.
Instantly check mate.
"WHAT?! How did this happen?! I was so sure I was going to win!" She exclaimed.
The sun then peeked though the window and shined onto the young master who faced it, illuminating his face to her.
The young master then started to laugh.
She stared in awe. This laughter was so sureal. She's never seen him laugh before unless it was something sadistic or a small chuckle when someone does something silly.
Unknowingly a shed of tear fell from one eye.
The young master stopped laughing and said, "you already crying because you lost? You had no chance from the start".
Y/N knew she was not crying because she lost, but did not want to say anything of it and agreed with him even though herself she didn't know what this odd feeling was yet again.
"Yes young master, it was a lovely game. I hope we can play more often if that is if that is ok?" She asked.
The lord looked at you sternly and responded, "I shall see. I enjoyed it most as well" he said with his now usual bored face.
She knew he enjoyed it because he brought your hopes up and then crushed her like a leaf in the end.
The door knocked and both knew it was Sebastian.
The Demon walked in the room too see both Y/N and Ciel sat by the chess table.
"I do not need to ask who won" he said.
