The sounds of helicopter rotor blades reverberated as they flew around the destroyed city. The news crew filming high above the skies saw the massive destruction the capital has undergone. Heroes, the cornerstone of this society, lay wounded and dead on the city streets. Or what's left of 'em, that is.

The camera crew panned over the demolished streets with wide eyes. Deceased or dismembered Nomus littered the ground. All high-end. Blood pooled down every crevice it could.

Buildings collapsed damaged and ravaged. It was like a whole different place now. No structures stood tall, all rest in a pile of destruction. Dust scattered the streets as the other buildings fell to their fate. Hundreds dying in mere seconds, minutes, not even an hour.

It all happened so fast.

First, it was nothing, then everything.

Blood. Bodies. Buildings. All were making friends with the ground.

It was supposed to be a simple patrol. He and hawks had decided night patrols were going to be a regular occurrence from now on. To better train him. Now here he kneels beside his deceased mentor. Panicked and scared.

It all started with a surprise attack. Nomus dropped down from the sky as if they were teleporting from nowhere. Using buildings to slow their descent by smashing into them.

People, like any normal human would, panicked. It's not every day that they see the infamous L.O.V's notorious Nomus wreak havoc in a largely populated district such as Tokyo.

Five, ten, fifteen, and it kept coming. Nomu after Nomu dropped from the sky as if it was a battle royal game. People died by the minute, bodies dropping every second as blood painted the city red.

It wasn't looking good at all thought Hawks as he flew around the city saving as many people as possible. He scattered his feathers to pick up civilians by the dozen as he fought with the large brain-dead creatures that were wreaking havoc in the city.

"Where the hell did all these bird brains come from!?" yelled hawks, an anxious expression on his face. He darted his eyes around in time to see a civilian about to get crushed.

The winged hero manipulated his quirk to shield the poor citizen. As they looked up, they saw the red feathers of the number 2 hero: Hawks!

They thanked the man and ran as fast as possible to get to the first responders who were helping out civilians. Hawks spoke into his earpiece, "Tsukuyomi, what's it like on your end?"

Tsukuyomi, better known as Tokoyami Fumikage, was doing his best to assist as many people as he could. His quirk, Dark Shadow, spoke up as they held up some debris to help the trapped civilians.

"Fumi, we need to regroup with Hawks!"

"We're doing fine, but Dark Shadow wants to regroup. We can not handle this many Nomus yet." tokoyami voiced as Dark Shadow engulfs his upper body.

"Sabbath!" He thought as his quirk covers him and they flew away to where Hawks was hovering.

"Sending you my location," Hawks said, flying down to slash at a Nomu's chest, just in time to defend a civilian.

As the two bird-quirked individuals meet up, the duo conversed while saving and defending people. But out of the blue, Hawks earpiece came to life. An emergency hero broadcast, "All available heroes and officers are en route. Good luck out there," voiced the emergency operator. Her voice was calm and even.

"Great, a minute later, and who knows how many people would've died," expressed Hawks as he stabbed a Nomu right in the eye.

"A villain attack?!" asked another hero, arriving on the scene in time to catch falling debris on some tourists. "Not to worry! You're going to be okay! We heroes got it all under control!" he smiled. The Civilians thanked the large man with bull horns as he tossed away the large slab of stone.
