The doors of the elevator open on the 13th floor and we step out cautiously. Soft music was playing through all the rooms on the floor, with the lights dimmed.

"Go get changed, we'll finish this in a minute. Do not go into her room yet, come meet me in the living room once you're done." Cerberus says before walking to his room. I look at Bucky again before rolling my eyes at being told what to do.

"Lokes just do it." Friday says quietly. I sigh but go to my room and change into some dress slacks and a button up. I'll shower after we do whatever it is we are about to do. What could possibly be so bad? I understand her scars are showing from her powers not being stable enough to hold them but we already saw a lot of it anyway so what's the problem.

I walk out just as Bucky exits his room as well. He's wearing a V-neck and jeans, his hands in his pockets. I nod at him before we walk together down the hall to the living room. I sit on an armchair while he sits down on the couch. A minute later Cerberus walks back out now in a flannel shirt and sweats.

"Okay, remember what I said, and try to keep an open mind. Keep your voices down, we will talk more once we leave her room again." Cerb says before waving us to follow behind him. We get to Mae's door before he glances back at us, worry and anger in his eyes. He shakes his head once before opening the door.

We enter the room to see Mae laid out on her bed, her red hair fanned around her as she sleeps on her side. The door shuts a little hard behind us, making her shift to rest on her back but not wake up. Bucky and I walk closer to her, Cerberus standing at the door. Bucky clicks on her lamp, making the room light up.

I look around for a minute, taking in the new design of it as I see the other 2 do the same.

Finally my eyes land on the face of the darling women, taking in the healed scar that's there

Finally my eyes land on the face of the darling women, taking in the healed scar that's there. I trace my finger lightly over it before my eyes move downward, only to stop on her upper arm. I trace the 'x' there with my finger as I look further down her arm, stopping on her wrist where another scar wraps around it. I stare at the 2 marks before looking at Bucky. He was staring down at her other shoulder where a large scar wraps around it.

He finally looks up at me, with tears in his eyes as he shakes his head. He takes a step back from the bed, almost afraid. I look frantically at Cerberus who just jerks his head at the door, signially for us to leave. We exit the room quietly before heading back into the living room, where Bucky sits on the couch with his head in his hands.

"What is going on?" I demanded, crossing my arms.

"It wasn't just memories of her was it?" Bucky asks suddenly, looking up at Cerberus who is leaning against the wall. Cerberus shakes his head still frowning.

"Dreams..." I trial off, thinking about the dream that had been haunting me, that has now stopped. I slump down in the chair and stare at the floor.

"Green? You mean...those late nights?" Bucky says, turning to me.

"I didn't think about it until now, and how similar everything was...but why? Why did we dream of her? Why does she have scars that match mine?" I ask him, trying to put the pieces together.

"That's how she knew you had to stay with her! Oh fuck it all makes so much sense!" Bucky yells standing up.

"Sargent! Please explain what is going on." I snapped impatiently.

"The 9s incident." He says staring at Cerberus now. Cerb nods once before sighing.

"What is that? You mentioned she got a scar on her arm from it but not what happened." I ask him as he falls back down to the couch.

"She used her powers to try to find her soulmate when she was 9. It backfired and she got a busted rib and a large burn down one of her forearms. She thought it didn't work until the first wound appeared on her. It only tied her to them, so she felt their pain and pleasure, plus getting their scars." Bucky says slowly. I look at him for a while, trying to connect the dots in my head.

"This would have been...15 years ago then?" I ask, unsure if what I'm pulling together is the truth. Bucky nods once.

"That's when the dream started...but she's looked the same in it all this time." I say softly, thinking about the time that has passed.

"That's how she knew how to do the magic sharing. She experienced it when mother and I did it." I say with a sigh.

"Wait a second, you and Luci preformed magic sharing?" Cerberus asks, as Bucky and I just nod. I snap my head to Bucky after I catch something he said.

"She felt their pain...and pleasure?" I ask, already regretting the answer. He nods before putting his head back in his hands. I lean back, thinking about all of the misery I must have added to this woman.

"That's why the base exploded right before New York happened. The torture of you by Thanos must have pushed her over the edge. They must have been planning to start using her if they had her so close to the city." Bucky says, sighing.

"She lived through not only her own hell, but both of yours as well." Cerberus finally speaks in a grim voice, walking to stand in front of the coffee table. We both looked up at him.

"She zapped her power because it was you 2 in danger. She drained her abilities and left herself vulnerable for YOU. The reason it's still draining is because she's still using her powers on both of you. Look at your eyes." He says with a glare as mirrors appear in front of us. I look into it to see my normally green eyes have rings of vibrant purple in them. I stare shocked at my reflection before the mirror disappears.

"She is the best person to ever walk into your lives, and if you have a problem with sharing her, I'm going to take her away from here before she wakes. She doesn't need your petty rejection to add to her list of bad things in her life. So make up your minds about her and do it quickly." He continues with a pointed look at each before going to stand by the window.

"She isn't leaving." Bucky and I say together. He turns to look at us with a raised eyebrow. I look back to Bucky before we both nod.

"She stays." I say with a growl.

"I just got her back, I'm not letting her go now. We will talk to her once she wakes up." Bucky says with a frown. Cerberus nods before turning his head back to the window. Black smoke surrounds us, making me look down in question. It presses against me, before settling on me, like a second skin.

"I severed the connection her power had on you. She'll wake up as soon as she's back to full strength. She isn't going to be happy that you now know, so be prepared for anything that might happen." Cerberus says as he walks to the kitchen.

"I'm making spaghetti, do you want some boys?" He calls as the sound of pans clanging rings out in the room. We both say sure before going back to our thoughts.
