Ellen was at the drawing room, eating and chatting away the time with Sirius when a letter dropped by in front of her.
She was a bit mused as it was not Frostine or Hedwig or Alaska or Pig.
She slowly opened her letter as Sirius stared, mildly confused as well. Ellen read the letter, two times to make sure she was reading it right and then tossed it into the trash can.
"What was it about? From Rose or something else?" Sirius spoke looking at the crumbled piece in the trash can.
"It was from the ministry...they want me to go to Hogwarts."
As if 'Hogwarts' was a secret word, another owl flew in and dropped yet another letter on Ellen's lap before taking off.
"UGH" She groaned but slightly widened her eyes by reading the name.
"What is it?" Sirius asked who was on the urge to snatch it from her hands and read it before she tosses it in the trash again.
"Its - It's a letter from - from Dumbledore!" Ellen spoke slightly shaken as she carefully ripping the letter and reading it.
"Why does everyone want me to freaking go to Hogwarts!?" Ellen spoke as she hands the letter to Sirius to read.
Sirius, on the other hand was thinking hard.
Rose is in Hogwarts, if Ellen will also go there it would be great, right? And then she can have friends. But how am I supposed to make her go? She is stubborn and I can't budge if she has made up her mind.
"I think you should go Ellen." Sirius spoke as casually as possible and looked up to face her before continuing "You have already been homeschooled for so long, it would be great for a change."
"I don't want no change but you can send an answer to Dumbledore, it would be quite polite." Ellen concluded calmly.
"You will make friends and - and you can interact with people!" Sirius exclaimed as she kept on shifting the food on her platter with her fork.
"How will you live? Without me?" Ellen spoke in a small whisper.
"You have got to be kidding me! I can leave alone!" Sirius almost yelled happily.
"Are you sure?" Ellen spoke uncertainty.
"YES! You will go to Hogwarts and that is going to be so fantastic."
He merrily stood up and Ellen guessed he has gone to pack her trunk. She sighed and turned her head towards the calendar.
