"Y/n, hellloooo?"
Sir Mars had a worried expression on his face. Wait, did I zone out?!

"OH- sorry about that, I accidentally zoned out momentarilly. What were you asking me?"

"Don't worry about it, I was actually asking if you'd like a tour from yours truely!" Sir Mars said with a cheery tone in his voice.

"Really!? You would do that for me?"

"Well, I don't think I have any other plans this evening, so yes!"

"Wouldn't your parents be worried?"

"Parents? Oh my mother really doesn't worry over my shenanigans."
"Any-who, let me show you around"

The bard picks up his small bag of coins from the performance as the stranger I saw earlier went and tapped his shoulder

"Mars, I took this from mother abbie"

The bard took the flier and skimmed it

"A summer season tea party?"

The bard curiously asked

The girl who handed him the flier responded right after

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking"

They both turn back and look at me

Mars speaks to the girl again

"Sophie, give y/n their money"

The girl responded sounding a bit angry

"Fine,"

She hands me my money back and the bard looks back at me again

"Allow me to introduce my sister. The one that took your money was Sophie, as an apology, may I offer you as a +1 to a tea party held by the king?"

The king? Holding a tea party, mother and father never told me about kings and queens holding tea party's before

You slowly nod your head

The bard then says:

"Sophie, walk in front of us so you don't try to pickpocket y/n again"

Sophie grumbled a bit then walked in front of us.
The bard took my hand and I turned red without thinking, the bard noticed and told me:

"Never held someone's hand before? I can let go if you want me to but it's the safest way around the kingdom for outsiders like you"

I quivered when he said outsider. I forgot that I've only been here for not even 2 hours, it felt longer than that, was it because I was having fun for the first time in a while? My mother and father never payed that much attention to playing with me because they were always busy with work, maybe that's i-
My thoughts get interrupted as the bard shook my hand a bit.

"Are you ok y/n?"

He asked nervously, because I froze up after he grabbed my hand while I was just trying to think. This is why I like the south more.

"Yeah I'm good, just had a deep thought"

He looked at me for a second then went back to walking, I followed right next to him as Sophie was a few feet in front of us

"The scenery is beautiful"

I accidentally thought out loud for a second but I didn't want Mars to know.

"It truly is, well from what I've seen from a bard's eye view"

He chuckles quietly to himself, I laugh a bit because the joke was pretty good.
