Evelyn POV:

I wake up to a bright light shining down on my face, forcing me to squint my eyes and turn my body in the opposite direction, ignoring the hands tightly wrapped around my waist.

When I turn around, I find my face buried in a pair of soft cushions; I snuggle even deeper into them, feeling a deep rumble vibrating through them and the sound of a booming chuckle echoing throughout the room.

My eyes immediately open as I realise who the chuckle belongs to, and memories from the previous night flood back in. I look up at the brown-haired beauty and can only give her a nervous smile while she looks down warmly at me.

"Hey, beautiful." I can't help but blush as I give her a tight-lipped smile, expecting her to say something like, "Last night was a mistake" or "I think it's time you left." In her direction, I mumbled a small "hi." Her brows furrow in confusion at my behavior, and she raises one of her perfectly trimmed brows to ask, "Is something wrong?" I cleared my throat before removing my head from her chest and moving to the edge of the bed, facing away from her. I noticed my underwear were ripped and on the floor, and I couldn't find my dress, so I grabbed the first t-shirt I saw and put it on.

I felt movement behind me and a hand being placed comfortingly on my back while rubbing small smoothing circles. "Evelyn, what's going on?" I could hear the concern in her voice, but I ignored it. I turned to her and gave her a slight smile.

"Nothing, look. Last night was fun, but I think I should get going now." I saw a flash of hurt cross her features, but that was quickly replaced with an irritated expression, "Evelyn, what? Is that all last night was to you, just some fun?"

I simply nodded my head and turned back around. "Look, I really should get going, Raven." Just as I was about to walk away after getting up, I was suddenly pulled backwards and pushed onto my back in the middle of the bed. My arms were pinned beside my head on either side.

She stared down at me with a clenched jaw, lowering her head down to my ear and speaking through her teeth. "I'm going to ask you one last time, Evelyn. What. Is. Wrong?" I sighed whilst feeling the ball form in the back of my throat and tears slowly build up in my eyes. "It's all going to change now, isn't it?"

She gave me a confused look and waited for me to continue. I sighed and let out a bitter laugh, "We'll go back to college after I leave here today, but it'll be different, won't it? You'll ignore me because of the shame you'll feel for sleeping with one of your students, and I'll think you just used me to blow off steam after one too many drinks when you needed some company. I don't want to delay the inevitable any longer, so I think it's best if I just leave now. We can act as if nothing happened between us and ignore each other."

She sighed deeply and rested her head between my shoulder and neck, kissing my neck lightly before releasing my wrists and wrapping her arms around my waist, pulling me up so we were both sitting on the bed and facing each other.

I winced slightly as she moved me because I was still a little sore from the previous night's events. She had a sad expression on her face, and I waited for her to tell me that I was correct and that she simply didn't want me to feel like shit.

"Evelyn, I-, why would you even say that? If I wanted to just use you, I would've done it a lot sooner than last night, but I didn't. I didn't because I wanted to keep my desire for you to myself and not act upon it. But now that i have..I know that there's no going back." I was now the one to give her a confused look. She chuckled slightly at my expression before continuing.

"It's no secret that I like you, Evelyn. It was just a matter of how soon it would properly be acknowledged and acted upon. I can see and hear the insecurity in your words and actions, but I am going to reassure you that once you leave this apartment today, I will not ignore you, and I most definitely will not treat you with anything but the respect and kindness you deserve. Knowing you are my student, I chose to be bold and lead us both up to this point, so I'm not going to give you the cold shoulder when it isn't fair to do so. "

"Thank you so much, Raven. I really needed to hear that." She responded with a smile and a nod. The reassurance caused me to relax and stare into her eyes, which had softened and gazed at me with the same care she showed when helping a student in class or when she was admiring someone who genuinely caught her attention.

"To be honest, I thought I was pretty clear about my intentions last night." As she said those final few words of her sentence i froze, her softened gaze had darkened significantly.

"Since it was so easy for you to forget the purpose behind my intentions, I would be more than happy to remind you of exactly what it is they were," she licked her lips and eyed my body up and down with a feline type smirk on her face.

I swallowed at the intensity of her darkened gaze and the lustrous words she had uttered to me, causing a shudder to run down my spine. She gently lowered me back onto the bed, so I was once again pinned to the bed underneath her, my arms held down on either side of my head.

Now, I could be wrong here, but I think she likes having us in this position. I let out a giggle and she lingered above me for a moment before looking at me as if she was savouring the sound that had just escaped my lips.

She smiled warmly at me and moved down to peck my lips, but the peck quickly turned into a much more hungry, demanding, and passionate kiss.
