"Christin, Christin!!"
"Hey, stop yelling my name like am your pet. So what's the yelling for?. Christin was asking posing in front of me . I wished she knew what am about to tell her now , she will even get more furious.
"I think I've asked you to talk to me more properly ......?, Anyways I've got bad news for you". I told her watching her reaction."spill it out". She was acting weird but not so weird she was way worst than these. Only that she piss me off.
"Annabel has been kidnapped". I said and She looked at me more closely.
"Please repeat it again". she said , all her body becoming active. "I Know you heard me loud and clear, Annabel has been kidnapped.......".
"Nooo, ho... How will we cope , she helps cover our expenses. I don't have a job , and you, you are as useless as I am ".
"The only solution we have is to find a way to raise her ransom, am sure they'll contact us Soon, so relax". I managed to say, trying to calm her nerves.
She smirk at me eying me to my toes." Do you think she will want to come back after everything we did to her? For me , I don't think so". She was making alot of sense right now for the first time in her life I guess. " I have a solution."I said instantly. " We can track the kidnappers down. Simple".
"Are you even sure she was kidnapped, how did you find out?. We need to be sure before trying to track some unknown kidnappers".
" It was all over the news papers that some girls have been kidnapped and Annabel won't have gone anywhere . She doesn't know anywhere".
After a difficult argument we came to terms of calling the men she has hired before in search of Annabel to track down the kidnappers. Am sure everything will fall down to normal soon.
Christin and I are having these quarrels everyday because of lack of money. And when Annabel comes back everything will suddenly be okay. I mean we've lost alot of customers . There's always a suitable girl out there so it wouldn't be hard to find one .
Not that we make so much money from her , but it was enough for our upkeep and settlement of debts and now......... Am only hoping we find her . She's only surving this only because I don't have a job.otherwise I would have preferred they kill her. Period.
