chapter nine

       I was boiling in hot steamy anger . I  could definitely lose my range for Derick rasing his hands on her . Yeah I still don't know her name but I guess I will know soon, she looks stubborn and the one that baffles me alot is how she does it, she may be scared of me to the dead point and the next minute she's looking all so confident.
       "Hey buddy, what's up?"
        "Why did you touch her?". Right now, the fact that he's my brother didn't really matter.
        "You act so weak towards this girl,  are you catching feelings for her?...........stoop!!". He was screaming now . He can feel my firm hold on his neck. How dare he say such about me ?. I gradually released my hand from his neck after his struggle to breathe under my hold. " Don't think I will let her go so easily. She will be miserable trust me " .Derick was saying and from his tone I think he wasn't kidding.he could be crazy . Really crazy. I went back to where she was staying.
         She sat down sobbing, resting her chin on her knees. Moving back and forth.I watched her from the door silently  . When our eyes locked together she quickly looked away  cleaning her face . She really don't want me to see her in this state.
        A part of me was asking me to be strict to her, she might be putting on this act for sympathy sake. Put the other part..........
       "Come with me outside for some fresh air" . I manage to say to her. She shook her head. Oh goodness , why does she have to be this stubborn?. "Ple.......". I quickly reserve my comment and went to drag her to stand up. I couldn't tell her please . I  couldn't even remember when last I used that word. "Will you want me to drag you out or you come quietly?".
        " Do I have a choice now?, Am coming". She said grinding her teeth.
      "Are you upset with me?". I asked after walking silently for a while. " Upset? No not at all in fact you've helped me".
       "Helped?".
      "Forget it am just being silly". She said . And right now I was looking so confused. How can you being kidnapped be a help. There were alot of things I really need to be clearified about. 
        "First, tell me your name" . I said , although I was a jerk , I should have asked her name before now.
        " Annabel" . She said and and I was surprised she didn't argue about that.
        "Annabel, you don't really care about your life do you?. I threw the question at her in a tough tone and she gave me a worried stare. "I .... I do ".
      I was looking at the trees surrounding us now. " If you do then drop your family number to be contacted for your ransom. Am doing this too nicely and if you get  me infuriated I can , I guess you Know what am capable of after the incident you witnessed with your other captive?".  I turned my attention to her this time around . The look on my face send shiver around her body. I smirked  before walking away leaving her in shock . Don't think she was expecting these.
