When Levi had come to drag away Eva from the bar Hange was there to stop him and much to his dismay, dragged him to sit with them, Moblit, Miche, Eva and Erwin.

"You need to loosen up," Hange insisted, thrusting a drink into his hands.

"You would assume drinking would do just that, but you'd be surprised," Eva teased.

"Both of us can't be drunk idiots," He countered, and Eva rolled her eyes.

"C'mon, we're celebrating my promotion and drinks have basically been free. If you try to drag me out of here, I will start a fight that could be very embarrassing for your reputation," She warned. Levi sighed, knowing at the very least Eva deserved a few drinks with friends even with Erwin present. It's not like they were alone. Levi raised the drink Hange had given him.

"Fine. Congratulations Eva, you will be as much of a pain in the ass as a Captain as you are a sister. I pray for whatever teams have to follow you." Hange laughed as Eva punched his arm. Levi took a seat between Hange and Eva as they shuffled down to make space.

"What kind of congratulations is that?" Eva whined. Levi smiled slightly, taking a sip of his drink choosing to relax a little as the chatter continued.

"Where's Nanaba?" He noticed.

"She'll be here once the night guard shows up to switch," Miche replied, leaning back in his chair.

"Shadis is letting me lead in the next expedition, under Levi's supervision but it's something."

"Even if he doesn't like it, he has to let you learn the ropes," Hange replied.

"He's a pain in the ass," Eva replied, finishing her drink before standing.

"Alright, I'm getting us another round. Levi catch up, that's an order."

"Don't let the power get to your head, it's already too big." Levi dodged Eva's attempt to smack the back of his head as she walked off to the bar.

"You're so mean to your sister," Hange scolded.

"Do you have a sibling?" He asked and Hange shook their head.

"Then you wouldn't get it." Erwin got up, gaining Levi and Hange's attention.

"What is it?"

"Fenrir, I'll be back," Hange sighed as Erwin walked to the bar.

"Who's Fenrir?"

"He's pissed Eva got the promotion and has been talking shit all night. She's done well to ignore it, but looks like he's trying to pick a fight with her," Miche explained, and Levi turned in his chair. A tall man, with dark hair and a salt and peppered beard, was looming over Eva. Even from here, Levi could tell she was pissed, but she kept her focus on the bartender as he lined a tray with drinks. Fenrir hit her bicep with the back of his hand and Levi stood. Hange caught Levi's arm stopping him, much to his annoyance.

"You need to let her handle it," Hange said firmly.

"But-"

"No! Some of the men get this way when women climb the ranks, and that she's from the Underground doesn't help. If her big bother comes running to her rescue no one will respect her authority." Levi sighed, knowing Hange was right. He reluctantly returned to his seat but sat at an angle to keep an eye on the situation that was growing louder by the second.

"That was my promotion, I've been here for years!"

"Take it up with the Commander," Eva dismissed, trying to ignore him as she waited for her drinks.
