Chapter 3

Readers pov 

I opened my eyes as I got up from the bed seeing my mother and miko sleeping. I sneak off to get ready for school to not wake them up. I walk out of my bedroom slowly closing the door behind me and softly knock on Sara's door. "(Y/n) why are you knocking so quietly." Sara said. "My mother and miko are asleep and it's terrible when there sleep is disturbed." I said as Sara nodded. Me and Sara walk into the kitchen and see childe eating breakfast. "Hey you two." As me and Sara shushed him. "Don't wake them." Sara said as childe just nodded and continued to eat his breakfast. "There are you more plates so help yourself." Childe said as me and Sara got some food and sat down with childe to eat breakfast. After we finished breakfast the three of us left the house and went to school. "Why is it that you two are telling me to quiet earlier." Childe said. "My mother turns really angry when she doesn't sleep." I said looking at childe. "That's why when mother was busy when i was younger Sara would take care of me." I said. "Ahh and that's why we don't let her near the kitchen either." Sara said as I nodded. As we were talking we made it into the school and made it to class. "Well let's get this day started." I said as we sat down in class.

-Lunchtime-

Third person pov

(Y/n), Sara, and childe decided to eat in the orc while Rias and the others were having their meeting. "Well it would be best for you and Asia to get some familiars." Rias said. "Familiars." Issei said confused. "Basically they are little helpers." (Y/n) said while eating. "That is why it is the best time to go see the familiar master." Her queen akeno said. The door opened revealing sona and her peerage. "You know rias he can only take one family once a month." Sona said. "Well since you two are gonna make it a competition about why don't you settle it with a game of tennis."  (Y/n) said looking at the both of them. "Wait (y/n) you know the student council President." Issei said. "Also yo saji." (Y/n) said. "Wait (y/n) is here as well?" Saji said. "Does he know we're all devils." Tsubaki said. "Yep." (Y/n) said. "But what is this I'm feeling off him." Saji said. "A lot of question we have I see." (Y/n) said. "But you should guys do your competition of who gets to go to the familiar forest I'm getting bored." (Y/n) said. "He's right to the tennis court." Sona said as both groups went to the tennis courts. (Y/n), Sara, and Childe were on the sidelines watching the game. The game went pretty normal until both sides went to use magic as the game kept going the three of them sweat dropped as koneko held up two broken racquets. "It's a tie." Koneko said. "Well why not dodgeball." Childe said as everyone nodded. "We'll meet in the gym later tonight." Rias said as we let the school day keep going until night hit around as all of us met in the gym as (y/n), sara, and childe sat on the bleachers. "You guys not gonna participate." Sona said as the three of them shook their heads. "This is between you guys." Sara said as the trio watched both peerages play a game of dodgeball. "Wait for them to imply magic right about now." Sara said as the ball was being thrown at high speeds and now the ball following issei and hitting him in his family jewels which made (y/n) and childe cringe at the feeling of it. "Hyoudou out." (Y/n) said as issei was brought to the sideline. The game kept going until it only sona in their team left which made the game decide with one hit team Gremory secures the victory. "Well a loss is a loss." Sona said. "The game was entertaining to watch good job on both teams even if the highlight was the issei getting hit in the crotch." (Y/n) said. "Yep big highlight." childe said laughing. "Anyways everyone why don't we celebrate tonight and get some familiars (y/n) you and your friends coming." Rias said as (y/n) looked at Sara and childe whom both nodded. "Sure why not." (Y/n) said as he, Sara and childe had their own way to the familiar forest. 

-At the familiar Forest-

Readers pov 

Me, Sara, and childe made it to the familiar forest and met up with Rias' group. "You guys made it." Rias said. "So this is the familiar forest." I said looking around. "Gives off a creepy vibe." Issei said. "Who goes there." A voice said as we look up and to see ash ketchum who seems to have finally grown up. "I am the familiar zatouji though you three I haven't seen from anywhere." Zatouji said. "Well I'll just take that as a compliment." Childe said. "Anyways what kind of familiars are you looking for small fast one or a big strong one to light fires." Zatouji said. "Do you have a cute and fun one." Asia said. "Cute and fun done and done." Zatouji said. "What about you three any familiars do you wish to see." Zatouji said looking at the three of us. "Especially you my boy the power you radiated is that of lighting and thunder." Zatouji said. "I mean mother did have yae but she's wasn't a familiar to her." I said looking at him. "I want a familiar who represents longevity and that of eternity." I said looking at the familiar master. "Longevity and eternity a hard it be go into the forest and find what you see." Zatouji said. "What about a narwhal." Childe said. "A narwhal very simple go north of the forest you will find an ocean for that you will see your pointy friend." Zatouji said as childe went north of the forest. "What about tengu." Sara said. "Ahh this one you might find this one sitting open of the east he sits upon a wooden log waiting for a challenge to come along." Zatouji said. "(Y/n) I'll be off to challenge this person." Sara said as I nodded. "So what will you do young one stay here and have an ear." Zatouji said. "Me I will search by my own to find the familiar right for me." I said as I wandered into the forest. "Many familiars I see but what could fit for someone like me." I said to myself as I kept walking through the forest. I saw crane and a white nine tail Fox it spurred my curiosity. The fox looked at me with its eyes as it walked towards me and I kept my guard up. "You are the son of an archon you smell of her." The fox said. "So you speak." I said as the fox took on a human form.
