Third Person

Peter walked down to the 62nd floor of Avengers Tower, tears falling in torrents down his face. Two weeks ago, he had discovered a ballet studio with a piano in the corner. Since then, he had been coming down to this floor to sing and play piano whenever he felt like he was drowning and he couldn't breathe, which was at least once a day. It helped, a lot. It slowed down the thoughts running through his head faster than Pietro. It let him focus on nothing but the music, the lyrics, his fingers gracefully hitting the keys. His posture straightened and the barest traces of a smile touched his face when he opened the door to the studio and was met with the sight of the piano.

His smile widened as he began to play the opening bars. The otherwise empty room was blessed with his angelic voice when he started singing.

I can take you away from here

Do not fear my dear

I can show you the way of love

Free from the hatred of those above

The tears slowed down as he concentrated on the lyrics.

Walk through shades of gray now

Over the barren hill

Where you'll find a place to rest

In a field of ivory

His heartbeat slowed, the music calming him down and scaring away all the dark thoughts. He was happy again.

Natasha made her way down to the 62nd floor, unbeknownst to anyone else in the tower. She had discovered the ballet studio there a few months ago and went there to calm down when the memories of her... uncomfortable past resurfaced. However, as she drew closer to the room she thought no one else knew about, or at least used, she heard the faint notes of a skillfully played song. She eased open the door, thankful that in this tower, there were no squeaky doors, and was confronted by her маленький паук playing piano and singing like an angel. Standing frozen in the doorway, the beautiful melody seeped into her skin. Her heart shattered into a million pieces when she noticed the dried tear tracks on her nephews cheeks, but the brilliant smile lighting up his face picked up the pieces. Getting the feel for the rhythm of the song, she began to dance. A Cabriolé here, a Sissonne there and all of a sudden she was moving gracefully across the room, with a skill that took decades to master.

Peter's POV

The lyrics ended and the music I played grew quieter. My intense focus on the music broke and I looked up from the piano, expecting to see the spacious but empty room with mirrors covering the walls and a barre along the wall across from me. Instead, I saw the room expected- except Aunty Nat, my мама паук, dancing across the room. My secret was out. She heard me. She knew.

I was so caught up in the fact that Aunty Nat knew my secret that I didn't realise she'd stopped dancing and walked over towards the piano until she was only a few feet away from me. My eyes widened in fear that she'd spill my secret to the rest of the Avengers, but she was quick to reassure me. "It's ok, маленький паук. I won't tell anyone if you don't tell anyone about my dancing."

"Of course, мама паук. I wouldn't tell even if you told them about me." I replied, horrified at the thought of exposing any of my family, although I was sure none of them would care.

"Thanks, маленький паук. You sounded amazing though. I've never heard anything like it."

A blush crept over my cheeks at her words. "Thanks мама. Have the others eaten yet?"

"I don't think so. Last I saw, Steve was making lasagna."

"Ooooh I'll race you upstairs!" I challenge, already sprinting towards the elevator grinning.

Of course, she won.
