Chapter 26: Horror Games

Author's POV

After Y/n's proposal to Shino, they kept it a secret to the others so they don't brag them with tons of questions.

Right now Y/n is back at his office, upgrading the Cardinal System on ALfheim as well as in the Ordinal Scale.

Ritsu: "Uplink is complete, sir."

Y/n: "Good. Now we'll just have to wait for two hours to finish the maintenance."

Ritsu: "Sir, Klein and Amy's flight just landed."

Y/n: "Already? I thought that will be tonight."

Ritsu: "Shall I call them?"

Y/n: "Alright. Let's ask on how's their vacation."

Ritsu starts to call Klein on his phone and it appeared on Y/n's computer.

Klein(Phone): "Hello?"

Y/n: "How's vacation?"

Klein(Phone): "Y/n? Why is it unknown number? I have your number saved on my phone."

Y/n: "This is a new number so don't save it. So how's your vacation you two?"

Klein(Phone): "Why didn't you tell me it was vacation?"

Y/n: "Because I know how dedicated you are when it comes to work and helping others. It wouldn't kill you just to take a break. Or at least, find someone to be your partner."

Klein(Phone): "Y-Yeah... But you really didn't have to do all this stuff for me."

Y/n: "Just shut up and accept it. It's already done anyway."

Klein(Phone): "Alright. Thanks for everything, Y/n."

Y/n: "No prob. See you two tomorrow."

He hang up the call and grab his phone.

Y/n: "Might as well take some nap. Ritsu, wake me up if Shino is calling."

Ritsu: "Yes sir. Sleep well."

He starts to lean back into his chair and close his eyes.

Asuna and Yuuki are currently having another duel using their new equipment.

Yuuki: "Your getting a little better, Asuna-san!"

Asuna: "I'm just holding back! I don't wanna use my trump card yet!"

Yuuki: "What a coincidence, so am I!"

The two of them continue on exchanging sword slashes while Kirito, Leafa and Silica are watching them along with other spectators.

Leafa: "Asuna-san and Yuuki-chan really are amazing."

Silica: "What I really wanna see is Shiryou-san fight again."

Kirito: "Yeah. I wanna fight him again too."

Leafa: "I doubt that you'll win against him, Onii-chan."

Kirito: "I know that I'm going to lose. What I want to know, is how long will I survive. Because the last time we fought, I barely hit him."

Silica: "You two fought? When?"

Kirito: "Years ago back in SAO. After we lost Yui, I was angry and yelled at him. I wanted to apologies to him, but he was dedicated to gain more power. So I challenge him and he just  throw me around like a ragdoll."
