part seventeen-marinette

I lay in my my bed listening to thousand years by bars and melody when I hear Chloe yelling outside my house so I climb up through my trapdoor to my balcony to see what's going on

"Dupain Cheng! Get your girlfriend off of my boyfriend" Chloe yells angrily

I stare down at her confused not knowing what she's talking about til I look over at the park and see Ryan crying on kagamis shoulder

"Chloe it looks like she just being a good friend to him she's not doing anything wrong"

Chloe stares daggers at

"Think what you may dupain Cheng but I know what's going on here and I'm putting a stop to with or without you" she spits out the last words before turning around and storming over to where Ryan and kagami were sitting in the park

I climb back down through my trapdoor and onto my bed wondering how Chloe knew what was going on between me and kagami before unpausing the bars and melody song I had playing and closing my eyes I felt tired but had no idea why before I knew it I was asleep

That night

TW night terrors just saying I may not be able to describe this part correctly since I haven't had any night terrors myself I'm just going off information on the internet

I wake up and start to panic realising I can't breath and it feels like someone is chocking me I look around me and start to panic more realising noone is chocking me I start to scream and cry but the tight grip around my throat doesn't loosen I start calling for kagami to save me but noone comes and the grip stays I almost give up and just start sobbing quietly when I see the kwarmis come out of the doll house I made for them I start screaming at them but they just look at me confused they soon quickly fly back into their doll house after a while and soon after my parents come up through the trapdoor and start trying to console but nothing works after a while I fall Back to sleep ready to forget everything in the morning

The next day

I wake up and feel like I'm the lead singer of a heavy metal band and it's the day after a concert instead of getting dressed for school I instead decide to walk downstairs to have breakfast first when I walk into the kitchen my dad looks over at me worried

"Are ok marinette?" I look at him confused

"What do you mean" I say talking for the first time today and realising my voice is very croaky what happens last night

"You know when you were yelling and screaming" I look at him more confused than ever I didn't remember waking up last night it added up though since my throat hurt like hell and my voice was extremely croaky

"I don't remember that" my mum and dad share a worried glance and look over at me

"Maybe it's better if you stay home today I don't think your throat is feeling good if your voice sounds like that I'll make you an apple cider vinegar tea ok" my mum says my dad nodding in agreement

"Uhh ok" I say confused before grabbing a bowl and some Milo cereal my dad got from Australia and making myself some breakfast

Later

I wake up to my phone going off I turn on my phone and see 10 mised calls and 30 texts from Alya and realise I forgot to text her before falling asleep to tell her I won't be going to school today I quickly text her

Marinette: hey sorry for not telling you I won't be coming to school today my parents are worried about something that happened last night and I'm really confused but I must of screamed a lot because it feels like I've ripped my vocal cords out

Alya: oh my god girl I thought you got kidnapped or something next time your going to miss a day of school you MUST text me before falling asleep or I will kill you you don't know how worried me Nino ryan and kagami have been

Marinette: sorry I promise i will text you next time okay

Alya: ok that's good see you tomorrow

Marinette: yeah maybe with the way my parents are acting I might be stuck at home for a week

Alya: ok class is about to start bye ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧

Marinette: okay byeʕ·ᴥ·ʔ

I sigh looking up at the ceiling throat feeling like crap I walk downstairs and into the kitchen and grab a glass of water before going back up to my room to go back to sleep

A/N yeah I know that chapter was kinder boring but it was a filler chapter so sucked in and stop yelling at me to get the manager since I am the manager anyways have a good day/night
