PLOT
Most tales become the most interesting with an odd twist of fate. A hero loses their weapon or the item that the young team has been fighting to find for years never existed in the beginning. A prophecy spoken of for ages, a chosen one prayed for, turns out to be nothing but generational lies. When everything seems lost an audience sits on their seats in anticipation for the end.
An odd twist of fate can bring together two strangers in an accident. Simply a passing and a meeting of eyes can spark an entire journey of love and laughter. But what one never expects from fate are the tragedies that fall for many forget that fate is a destiny unchangeable. Everyone wishes for their fate to end in a happily ever after, yet fate's path can often lead to the end of a life. To an oppressive black hole, a destined end that does not end in kisses and marriage but bloodshed and screaming.
The Avengers had finally found it - the Hydra base that they were sure that Loki's staff had been hidden in. There was no plot twist in sight as their goal hung before them, brushing their fingertips. Infiltrating the base was easy for them, slowly making their way through the Sokovian castle's hallways.
Natasha Romanoff approached an abandoned hallway where every door was locked. Kicking the first in, she found a room completely dark if not for the glowing tube where a woman was frozen between life and death. But what surprised the assassin more than anything about the frozen woman, is that she recognized her from a place she's been desperately trying not to think about.
And in this twist of fate, Natasha Romanoff stood face to face with Eliza Mynezov once again...
EXTRA INFORMATION
— Eliza Mynezov: sarcastic as heck, dark sense of humor, makes so many jokes, also cusses a lot EXCEPT in front of kids because she doesn't want them to have that kind of influence, always smiling but it doesn't always reach her eyes, more compassionate than she realizes, slow to trust but when she trusts she gives herself to that person (friend or lover) — Natasha and Eliza are one year apart (Eliza was in a widow group just below Natasha) — Eliza has become yet another successful super soldier through combined testing done between the Red Room and Hydra — Eliza falls into Hydra's grasp from the Red Room when Natasha believes she's killed Dreykov and destroyed the room (the first time) — the two met on missions. their years were also close enough in age to work together on missions, their groups would be put in training together, and as the groups got smaller, they would be in the same room to sleep HOWEVER their real relationship mainly begins in aou — The Avengers bring Eliza to the Tower and when she wakes up there is a bit of a fight as Eliza panics but she remembers Natasha enough to allow her to calm her down — Eliza is in the medbay when Ultron attacks. One of the suits is sent to kill her but with her training and super soldier blood she is able to deal with it. That doesn't stop Natasha from booking it to the medbay when Ultron says he killed someone in the building — Eliza is there for Natasha throughout aou, and they should room together instead of Nat and Bruce when you get to the Barton's farm. Natasha remembers the Red Room and the stuff they did to her. Eliza on the other hand remembers a lot more, she was not a star student even though she survived. She's been though more torture and experimentation than Natasha has, Wanda's powers force her to relive it all — their relationship goes from the slow burn trusting friendship to a fast burn crush to lover relationship — Eliza is welcomed into the Avengers and she enjoys her time there, becoming more comfortable with the whole team up until Civil War — Eliza is considered in the same category as Wanda when Ross visits about the accords and she's there during the incident — Eliza is torn between her new family and her crush and her love of being something so much better than an assassin. In the end, she sides with Natasha: with Tony, then helping Steve and Bucky, and then running — from there Black Widow begins AND MY DUDE OR DUDETTE this is prime Natiza time. Meeting Natasha's other family, especially Yelena (whose sense of humor is a lot like Eliza's actually), allows Eliza to see another side of Natasha to fall in love with. It also leaks more into Eliza's PTSD from the Red Room — Natasha and Eliza's relationship: smelling of leather and sweat, mixed lipstick, comments about the tight suits, sarcastic comments, holding hands, not always words but simple contact, burning wood and rushed kisses because who knows how much longer they have left — in infinity war, everything should play out like usual (Eliza not snapping away please) BUT endgame is where I want to have fun and present an au ending — instead of JUST Clint and Natasha going up to the cliff, I want Eliza to go up there with them both. all three trying to sacrifice themselves, yelling at the others, and in the end when Clint jumps off and Natasha still finds a way to sacrifice herself it's Eliza holding onto her being held up by Clint and the tears roll y'all — Natasha tells Eliza "I love you" one last time and Eliza can only watch as the first person she has ever truly loved in her life falls from her grip and crashes into the stone below — at the end of Endgame when Steve originally takes the stones back, he still does. Except he splits the stones with Eliza, who takes the soul stone back. (In this reality you can choose whether Steve goes to Peggy or comes back to Sam and Bucky). — Eliza chucks the soul stone over the cliff (despite the Red Skull trying to convince her not to) and watches it crack against the stone she saw Natasha die upon and the clouds swallow her again. When she wakes in the shallow lake/pond thingy she sits up just as Natasha sits up across from her. A tackle hug and sobs ensue. Eliza, in the place of the stone, gets the only soul she wants back ( this is an alternate ending but you don't have to choose to follow this ) — you can recast anyone in this fic as you wish, but please don't the oc name / also remember that Natasha and Eliza are Russian!! — Eliza's sexuality and labels are also up to you!! I feel like she could lean as a lesbian or as pansexual, but as I said, it's up to you!!
