Nash's POV

Cam and I laughed loudly as we penny boarded down the streets of Cali.

Cam swerved through people on the sidewalk as we skated to the ice cream parlor.

God I love his smile.

Cam and I have been best friends since diapers. That's a long time.
A good amount of time to watch each other grow. When you grow with someone you learn so much about each other its like looking in a mirror. When you grow you hit puberty. When you grow you learn more about yourself and your preferences. Like your... sexuality. And feelings get real. If your like me... You start to get feelings for your best friend.

So here I am staring at Cam as we skipped up to Benny's Ice Cream shop.

"That was sooooo fun Nash we gotta do that again!" Cam said excitedly.

"I know dude! It was such a rush!" I said with a chuckle.

Cam ordered a mint chocolate chip for himself and a vanilla chocolate mix for me.

We sat at one of the tables outside. Cam sat a little close may I add. Our arms brushed against each others numerous times. We talked a little and licked our ice cream contently.

"Hey, we're close to the beach let's board down there and play in the ocean for awhile. Wanna go?" Cam suggested.

"Yeah sure."

We finished our ice cream and cleaned our sticky hands and mouths. Then we cruised down a hill that lead to the beach.

We walked up and down the beach. The hot sand was sinking under our bare feet. It was around 7 so the sun was setting soon.

As we walked Cams pinky caught one of my fingers. I didn't really mind so I let him. What had my heart racing was when he intertwined our fingers. I looked to Cam with a shocked look and he just had a huge smile on his face as he rested his head on my shoulder.

Holy fucking shit!! This is real. I think.
I pinched myself. Ow. Yup it's real.

We sat down in the middle of the beach where the sun and the horizon meet.

As we waited for the sun to set we stared at each other.

"Ummm c-can I try something?"

"Uhhh sure?"

Cam licked his lips and flickered his eyes from my eyes to my mouth.

OMG!! IS HE?!! OMFG IS HEEE?!!!!!!

Cam's face inched closer. His mouth kept opening and closing like he was damn flounder.

Our lips finally met softly. My eyes fluttered closed. I quickly responding to the kiss. We moved our lips in a slow rhythmic pace. His lips are soooo so warm. Cam slowly straddled me. His fingers played with the hair at the nape of my neck. I wrapped my arms around his waist pulling him closer.

We breathlessly pulled away. Both our cheeks tinted with a pink blush. We both giggled and looked down.

"Woah" Cam sighed.

"Woah is right!" I chuckled out

"I've seen the way you look at me Nash. How protective you are of me when a guy looks at me in any way. Your always there for me. I adore how you can make me smile and laugh easily. Your so cute how shy and childish you get. I like you. I have for a while now. And I can tell you like me too. So... let's... be boyfriends."

Cam's eyes searched my face for any rejection.

"Yes I'll be your boyfriend." I said with a big smile. Cam smiled back.

I pecked his lips a couple times.

"Turn around." I said softly.

Cam turned around in my lap and sat between my legs.

I wrapped my arms around him and kissed his neck.

The sky was an array of colors like orange, pink, red, and yellow.

"The skies always so beautiful. I love it."

"I know right. I can sit here forever and watch it... With you."

"Wow. We've been dating for only 5 minutes and your already being cheesy!"

I laughed loudly and hugged Cam close.

The sun slowly laid to rest letting the moon takes its night shift.

"Let's go home babe."

Cam blushed at the new pet name.

We stood slowly and brushed away the sand.

We grabbed our shoes and boards in one hand leaving our other hands to intertwine.

We walked slowly, our path lit by street lights.

"I-I love you Nash."

"I love you too Cameron."
