Summary: Blind Nash feels like he's wasting his guide Cameron's time.

Nash's POV

I keep my eye lids closed and open them, I still can't see.

Dammit.

It's so dark. Like all the time. Darkness. That's all I see.

I've always imagined waking up and opening my eyes to finally see daylight. That will never happen. I should give up that dream. It only makes me more depressed.

I press the blue button on my bed that signals that I need Cameron.

Cam's been my guide for six years now. I'm thinking about getting a new one because sometimes I feel like I'm just a bother to him and he just doesn't want me around.

"Morning beautiful!!" Cameron greets as he opens the door.

"Good Morning Cammyn" I greet back.

I feel Cam walk past me to my closet.

"What do you want to wear Nash?"

"Umm a white T-shirt and sweatpants is fine"

I went blind at four so I know my colors and some other things that I need to see to know.

Cam helped me with my clothes and intertwined our fingers so he could lead me downstairs.

As Cameron prepared breakfast I thought of what would happen if I let Cam leave.

"Beautiful what's wrong? Why are you crying."

"I-I-I uhh nothing, I'm fine."
I whimper out as I roughly wipe my tears.

"Nash......Do you want me to describe the sky to you?" Cam says softly knowing that always calms me down.

"Yes please" I whisper

"Well today on this lovely Tuesday morning we have a gorgeous blue sky just as blue your eyes! The sun is out! Their are birds flying around too. Your favorite blue and yellow bird is on the ledge again. There's big white fluffy clouds dancing around the sky!! When you finish breakfast we can take a walk. Okay?"

"Okay." I giggle as I eat my breakfast. I love how much Cam knows how to cheer me up.

I feel Cam sit down next to me as he places a loving kiss to the corner of my lips.

Suddenly I feel sad again. "Cam? Would you ever leave me? Sometimes I feel like I'm tying you down. You've been taking care of me everyday for the past six years. Y-you don't get to go out with y-your friends a-and sometimes I make you s-sleep with me when I have bad d-dreams, you do so much for me and I'm so thankful for you. I need you Cammy." I say while letting a new round of tears fall.

"Beautiful, you know I would never leave you. Your my happiness, my sunshine, my whole world, Lovey. And I'll be damned if I ever, ever let you go........ I love you Nash. I love you so sooooooo much. I wouldn't want anyone else taking care of you but myself. I wouldn't mind being your guide forever as long as I get to call you mine."

I pulled him to me with both of my hands on his warm cheeks and kissed his soft plump lips  "I love you too."

Cam smiled into the kiss and pecked my lips a couple times.
"Let's go for our walk." Cam intertwined our fingers.

Ever since that day the two have never been more closer. They got married after two years of dating. They share a house, three adopted kids, two girls and a boy, and a dog named Jaxx. Nash manages to help around the house and with the kids. Even though he still can't see.
