"I'LL BEAT YOU, OLD MAN!" Katsuki laughed, as he shot his father again.
Masaru laughed, aiming his gun at his son.
Every year, the village has a sort of festival. Where they have a competition. Two people get on horses, and ride around in a ring. They shoot each other with fake guns, loaded with powder. Once one of the players is shot 5 times, they lose, and the winner advances to the next round.
Izuku giggled as he watched Bakugou ride around on his brown horse. Cinnamon was the horse's name, and it was Midoriya's favorite horse. Katsuki's too.
The two men rode around, shooting each other for several minutes, before the match was over.
Masaru had 5 powder patches on his shirt, and Katsuki, only 1.
The two men got off their horses, brushing off the powder.
"Kacchan! That was amazing!" Midoriya laughed. "I didn't know your village had fun once in a while." He teased.
Bakugou rolled his eyes. "Oh shut up, city boy." He scoffed, pushing the boy playfully.
After Midoriya spent several days in the village, he had calmed down a little. He had learned how to clean the stalls, and brush the animals. Also, he had started getting dressed a little more appropriately, by borrowing a few of Bakugou's clothes.
"ALRIGHT! MY TURN! BRING IT ON, BRAT!" Mitsuki yelled, from the other side of the ring. The boy's bother jumped in the ring, climbing on the other horse; Pookie.
People cheered, as Katsuki got on his horse again, grabbing his gun, and making sure it was fully loaded.
An old man yelled, meaning the match had started. Izuku leaned on the side of the ring, watching as the couple laughed and shot each other. It was quite funny to see. They were really alike.
When the match ended, another one started. With Bakugou in everyone of them.
The village spent nearly 3 hours standing around, watching the matches. Katsuki was in the final one, and won. The people cheered, and congratulated him, yet the blonde was too focused on Izuku. He smiled at the boy, who smiled back at him.
Izuku panted as he shoveled the last bit of the hay in the stall. It was tough, cleaning every morning. Especially after staying up so late last night, watching the matches.
He smiled at the thought of Bakugou, who was great at the games.
Even though the two only knew each other for about 10 days, Izuku felt safe around him.
The boy shook his head. He just got out of a breakup. He can't just, fall in love like that again. He'll just end up being hurt like last time. Besides, he's leaving in 3 weeks. There's no way a guy like Katsuki likes him back, in such a short time of knowing him...
"Hey, you're up early." Katsuki yawned, walking in the barn. "I woke up and you were gone." Bakugou smiled.
Izuku looked down. Right, he slept with Bakugou last night. He didn't go back to his own cabin. They didn't do anything innappropriate, but they just fell asleep together, that's all.
"I wanted to get this done." Izuku said, pushing the cart full of hay to the other stall, ready to clean it.
"The horses out?" Bakugou asked, sitting down on a stool.
"Yeah." Izuku nodded.
There was an awkward silence.
"Are you doing anything today?" Katsuki asked, looking up to the boy.
Izuku smiled. "What else do you want me to do but this?" He giggled.
"Wanna go out for a ride?" Bakugou asked, fiddling with his fingers.
Midoriya smiled brightly.
"Sure!"
Izuku smiled as he said something else, earning a groan from the blonde.
"I'm taking Cinnamon though!"
